Stand
In a time of the
growing influ-
ence of the Nation of Islam and
Five Percenters, the immorality
of the hip-hop culture, and the
growing tide of abortion in the
black community, the Spirit of
the Lord is raising up a pro-
phetic standard. The Holy Spirit
is raising up a generation in the
black community, who will stand
with burning hearts in intimacy
with Jesus, as friends of the
Bridegroom.
Although the conference is targeted
toward the black community I know
that all ethnicities will be deeply im-
pacted. Let me know if you’d like to
join us in this time of growth and
prayer for God’s children in the
black community!

January Update
Hello to all of my dear family who
have partnered with me in this jour-
ney of worship and prayer! Your
prayers are powerful and effective
and I have a lot of good news to
share with you because of them!
It has been a VERY powerful month
here at IHOP-KC. We had our
Onething Conference. Founded on
Psalm 27:4-One thing I have asked from the
LORD, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
To behold (the beauty of the LORD
And to meditate in His temple. Our desire
in the conference is to bring people of
all ages into a conscious decision to run
with all their heart, soul, mind &
strength to and for the Lord. Leader-
ship taught very fundamental theolo-
gies this year. I highly recommend lis-

favourite was by one of our University
teachers named Stephen Venable. It’s
titled, “Glorifying Jesus through costly
discipleship”. Summing the teaching
up, he boldly spoke that the early
church had a very prominent view of
Jesus’ return and that following Him
meant giving up our lives to
Him...literally. In every aspect of life
including life itself and all within a clear
understanding of His GREAT love for
us in doing so. He died...so we must,
too. And that, because of love. It
really moved me...actually if you decide
to partner with me in any way this
month PLEASE listen to this teaching.

Beholding In The Night...
Acts 2:29-30 And now, Lord, take note of
their threat, and grant that Your bond-
servants may speak Your word with all confi-
dence, while You extend Your hand to heal,
and signs and wonders take place through the
name of your holy servant Jesus.
The other day while praying for the nation of Haiti the
Lord pressed on my heart the need for messengers. A true
need for a messenger endued with the power of the Holy
Spirit. In our past there have been many reformations and
revivals where MANY were saved. There were healings
and powerful acts of God done. They happened in many
nations and in through many peoples. The most prominent
I can think of was the Protestant movement through Mar-
tin Luther and the Methodist movement started by John
Wesley. These two men of God were, first and foremost,
friends of God. Well acquainted with the place of prayer.
As John the Baptist would have called them, “Friends of
the Bridegroom”. D.L. Moody said, “Every great movement
of God can be traced to a kneeling figure.” I believe this to be
true.
These great men and many others didn’t
speak the Word of God out of a worked up
strength or motive. It wasn’t an act rooted
from self driven obligation or even a bland
religious obedience(obedience rooted be-
cause of love is ). But these men acted out
of a groan given within them from the Holy
Spirit. It wasn’t emotionless. It wasn’t pas-
sionless. These men wept and yelled and endured many suf-
ferings and hardships. Sleepless nights, hunger and many
relational losses for many reasons were only the beginnings of
some of their problems. At some point, any powerful re-
former endured having their life threatened. Because of deep
love and passion for Christ these men obeyed the calling
given them.
And they changed the world.
There haven’t been many men who have walked the earth like
them. But even today there are some like a few. Ones who
carry the Word & burden of God on the inside of them...and
the outside. What great love and devotion lives within them!
What desire and hunger for God is shown through
them...they change the world! God, raise up messengers in
our midst like this, change our hearts, God!

January Update continued...

My personal circumstances have
changed drastically in the past
month. I originally landed a job in
one of our staff management de-
partments called “Sacred Trust”.
mainly managing incoming staff
and attendance. Buuut, I received
a call from my boss (Sada
Rogers...I love her to death:) she
advised me that she had gotten
permission to pay me as part of
our ushering team(almost like se-
curity in the prayer room) and that
would also allow me to be a little
more active in singing as
well...GOOD NEWS!!! I have
waited and prayed for a long time
for a financial breakthrough like
this! Thank you all for praying
with me in this area. Granted it life. Walking this out
is a pay cut from Wal-mart, but for me. I’m realiz-
