ATR VERDICT: It's interesting to note that Sir Alex Ferguson's LOST CITY, trained in North
Yorkshire by Richard Fahey, makes his debut here and it could pay to side with the English raider. The
colt cost connections 50,000 guineas, is related to a string of winners, and, as he's engaged on the
opening day, is presumably well forward. The danger could prove to be Whip Rule, another well-bred
sort but whose pedigree suggests he may prefer a longer trip. Pinkisthecolour could also go well and
has sprint winners in her family but might be better over further.

ATR VERDICT: LOLLY FOR DOLLY looked a nice filly in the making last season, winning her first
two starts including an impressive success in a Group 3 contest here. However, she failed to follow up
in three subsequent outings, culminating in a disappointing fifth in the Pretty Polly Stakes. It may be,
however, that the return to a mile could help and she's worth giving another chance. Termagant won a
Group 1 contest here in 2009 but only ran once last year. She has claims if regaining her old form
while Listed winner Gemstone is not without a chance.
