BLS Group has developed a niche for themselves in the industrial world
since 1954, as a philanthropic body based its concern and care for
uplift of human values by way of enrichment through developing
academic institutes of eminence. Encouraged with the response of the
students, faculty and the corporate sector towards placement of our
products groomed from BLS Institute of Management – a premier
Business School under the overall aegis of the BLS Group of Institutions
which have been placed in 'A' Category by All India Management
Association (AIMA). The Group promoted “BLS Education Society” duly
registered vide No: S – 53587 of dated 02.02.2005 with Registrar of
Societies, Government of NCT of Delhi, under the Societies
Registration Act XXI of 1860.
The Society established the BLS Institute of Management Studies

(BLSIMS) at Jakhoda, Bahadurgarh on Delhi – Rohtak Road (NH – 10). The
Institute is one of the most premier educational sites of the Nation. It
offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and incorporates

Director's Message
The technological revolution along with rapid growth and development
around the world has opened new channels to masses for developing the
knowledge based society. Every nation and society has to create the pool of
intellectual wealth so as to capitalize upon the current demands and
contextual requirements.
Since its inception in 2008, the BLS Institute of Management Studies (BLSIMS)
has committed itself to excellence. It recognizes hidden potential and
strengths of its students and enables them to learn, grow and evolve into
successful Business Managers. The whole atmosphere at BLSIMS is perfectly
conducive to overall personality and knowledge development with an alert
focus on evolving effective, efficient, confident and knowledgeable business

Classrooms and Teaching Aids
The Institute is equipped with the latest electronic teaching multimedia, LCD
Projectors, OHP, Laptops etc. Students are facilitated with the latest know
how to learn to be effective in presentations in the corporate world. The
Lecture Theatres provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic
focused discussions.
The BLS Library
A well stocked Library with over 10,000 books and 5,000 titles covering all
possible aspects of interest for management students. In addition, it also
shelves an Audio-Video Library. The collection includes over 110
International/National Journals to keep the students abreast with the latest
developments in the field.
The Computer Centre
BLSIMS Computer Centre with 120 Computers is equipped with multimedia

duel core configured setup, having multiple terminal units networked on
WINDOWS/LINUX platform with high speed internet (1mbps to 4 mbps), LAN /
WAN providing a high-tech environment for learning.
Games and Sports
BLSIMS boasts of an internationally designed badminton court. It also has

indoor games like table tennis, carom, chess etc. for the overall personality
development of the students.
The Cafeteria
An all-day cafeteria in open-air cottage ambience with a variety of snacks and

meals is available to cater to the multi-ethnic tastes of the students, faculty
and guests.
The Hostel
The Institute has state-of the art on campus Hostel accommodation for
students. We provide our students with well-furnished rooms, wi-fi internet
connectivity, entertainment lounge with television satellite connection,
housekeeping and telephone facilities etc.

Academic Activities
The Institute encourages new ways of thinking and opens up the mind of the
young generations to the creative and competitive challenges of the future.
It builds a high performance essential to strategic success. The focus is
equally on contents as well as process, nurturing a remarkable learning
environment for a highly rewarding and enriching experience. Keeping this in
mind, the Institute has been organizing seminars/workshops/guest
lectures/industrial tours and exercises in effective communication skills.
Personality Development Workshops
Under this program, the distinctive factors which reveal personality and
techniques of sharpening the same to become an ideal managers are made
known to the students.
English as Second Language (ESL)
Globalization requires uniformity and business needs progress. As human

beings, we are dependent upon language and English is the recognized world
language. For the benefit of our students, we have introduced the concept of
ESL classes. From the ensuing academic session, native speakers from US, UK,
Canada and Australia, will teach English to our students. We are hopeful that
this effort will help in nurturing, grooming as well as developing the overall
personality of our students, the Future Managers and Business Tycoons.
Foreign Language Courses
In the context of globalization where organizations and people move towards

a borderless world, communication becomes the catalyst and facilitator for
acceleration of global acceptance. Student can choose from Chinese/
French/Japanese and German language courses which enhance their global
acceptability and movability.
Job Search Help
Free resume reviews, cover letter critiques, interview tips and jobs strategy
coaching practices are available.
Industry Interface
As per the curriculum, Management students are taken on industrial visits

with the objective of giving them actual field exposure. We will take our
students to different industries/corporate houses/financial institutions etc.
for visit. From the coming academic session we are going to send our students
on an international educational trip that would include visit to the local
industries and Universities facilitating their global placement.

Academic Studies at BLSIMS
PGDM program at BLSIMS offers students a cafeteria approach in selection
from variety of subjects/courses designed to inculcate and develop their
critical/analytical thinking, team spirit, effective communication and
problem solving skills, essential to personal and career success. These
courses ensure students meet the requirements of the Employability Skills
Profile, achieve the learning outcomes set by the Institute and acquire skills
that can give value addition to their Institute learning experience.
English and Communication
Successful companies know the key to manage and successfully handle rapid
changes and challenges of globalization, is effective communication. Our
corporate office works closely with the ESL Department to tailor
specialization specific courses/modules/capsules that develop core
communication skills. The program presents relevant career applications
while allowing students to develop the critical thinking skills. From this
academic session we have established ESL Department and the prime
responsibility of this Department is to enhance communication skills of our
students.
Our PGDM students will have the opportunity of being taught by the native as
well as non-native English Language Experts. Qualified English Language
Instructors from US, UK, Canada and Australia will teach special courses in
English as well as other communication related subjects to our students.
The Management of BLSIMS is of the view that these types of continuous

interface will enhance understanding as well as comprehension of English
language of our Indian students up to international standards. When
students will interact with native speakers, they will be exposed to different
accents and this for sure will help them to be successful not only in India but
also overseas.
Counseling Services
We believe in success and we want all our students to be successful in their

personal as well as professional lives. Keeping in mind the mental pressure on
our students for attaining excellence in life, we offer them free of cost
counseling services. Students will have access to our Expert Counselor, who
will be available for guidance five days a week at our Corporate Office to start
with and later on at campus also. While providing counseling services we will
take care of the privacy issues.

The core faculty of the BLSIMS consists of highly qualified academicians and
professionals drawn from reputed Institutes like IIM, IIT, BHU and Industry.
With a view to keep pace with rapid changes in the global business scenario
faculty participates in various National/International Seminars/Conferences
/Workshops for paper presentations etc. To make this possible faculty is

research Projects. In addition, faculty undertakes various consultancy

Placements: Past Records
BLS offers some of the finest placement opportunities to its students. The
illustrious past of our students is a result of synergies attained by integrating
efforts of BLS's Academic Advisory Board Members, Governing Council
Members, well placed Alumni, Placement Cell and the students that are
comprehensively networked with who's who of the industry.
We follow a methodical approach to nurture and groom our students to make

them suitable for the contemporary corporate requirements and finally assist
them to get plum jobs through recruitment.
Activities that are undertaken keeping placement in view are the following:

BLS has a well organized in-house Placement Cell, appropriately staffed with

A three year Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any University

recognised by the UGC with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Information Technology or any other
