QUALITY ASSURANCE Quality will be ensured through guidance under Akakus Quality Assurance (QA) Plan and relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs). Following Akakus routine practice for conducting ‘onshore/offshore surveys, a number of QA/Quality Control (QC) measures have been implemented during the studies. A sampling station plan will be prepared prior to the survey that will layout the ‘sequence of sampiing stations to be visited in order to facilitate operations. During the mobilization, all water/Soil quality and sampling equipment will be prepared, calibrated, and/or cleaned according to manufacturers’ specifications and relevant protocols. Sample containers will be labeled appropriately, inventoried, and assembled according to sampling stations to ensure the correct samples are collected at each station. Best practice SOPs wil be followed in the collection of all the samples to avoid any sample contamination. Upon collection, samples will be preserved and stored as appropriate to meet corresponding sample protocols. A field log will be maintained to 1g conditions and catalog samples that have been collected. Trip and equipment blanks will be prepared and analyzed to document levels of potential contamination from sample containers, collection devices, and general sample handling. Field QC will include equipment blanks (reinstates), field blanks, sample duplicates, and field data checks. Upon completion of the surveys, al field data will be archived on hard drive servers. Laboratory data results and any processed data files also will be archived according to Akakus protocol. All project data files, imagery, videos, and related documents will be retained according to Akakus data retention policy, unless superseded by Client's requirements. ‘All project documents will be prepared according to Akakus.
