West Bengal Pollution Control Board invites applications from young, dedicated professionals to fill up the following posts:
1. ASSISTANT ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER - 7 posts Qualification:: Candidates who have passed H.S. (Sc) or equivalent
[SC-1, SC (EC)-1, ST-1, OBC (Category-A)-1, UR-2, UR (EC)-1] & possessing minimum two years experience in Laboratory work.
Qualification: A degree in Electrical / Bio Technology / Chemical / Pay Band Scale: Rs 5,400 - 25,200. PB- 2. Grade Pay: 2,600.
Civil / Mechanical / Environmental / Instrumentation / Automobile 5. LOWER DIVISION ASSISTANT - 5 posts
or Public Health Engineering from a recognized University. [SC (EC)-1, ST- 1, OBC (Category-A) -1, UR- 2]
Computer Knowledge is essential. Pay Band Scale: Rs 9,000 - Qualification: Candidates who have passed Madhyamik

Age Limit : Not Less than 18 years & not more than 37 years as on 1/1/2011. Age relaxation of SC / ST / OBC Category - (A) & OBC Category -(B) /
PH / Ex-Servicemen / Exempted Categories are allowed in terms of existing order of West Bengal Government.
Mode of Selection : Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Screening followed by Written Examination, Trade Test & Interview.
Departmental candidates are eligible to apply if they fulfill the requisite qualification.

2. Candidates are required to send Completed Application form along with attested copies of Caste / Disability Certificate (as applicable), documents
/ certificate.
3. Applications may be sent through “ORDINARY POST” / can be dropped at Paribesh Bhawan in earmarked box and should be addressed to: The
Member Secretary, West Bengal Pollution Control Board, Paribesh Bhawan, 10A, Block-LA, Sector-III, Bidhannagar, Kolkata - 700 098
superscribing on the envelope 'Name of the Post applied'. The application should reach on or before the closing date. 15/02/2011 up to 5.00pm.
The Board shall not be responsible for any postal delay.
4. Non Refundable Demand Draft / Pay Order in favour of “WEST BENGAL POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD” of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two
hundred) only payable on Kolkata Service Branch for the Unreserved Category should be sent along with the application form.
