In methodology, all the steps that will be taken in order to investigate the question will be

explained and mentioned clearly. The steps that are included are to mention the participants or

subjects that involved in this survey, the instruments that are used for collecting data that is

questionnaire and the last step is analyzing data from the questionnaires and interviews.

As the title for this research is ³The Implementation of OSHA (1994) On Construction Project´

so the participants for this research are the employees at construction project. Data collection

technique will using survey questionnaire and interview among managers and employees. Based

on the questionnaires and interview from managers and employees can make analysis using

Statistical Package to Social Science (SPSS). .

As the title for this research is ³The Implementation of OSHA (1994) On Construction Project´ so the

participants for this research are the managers and employees at construction project on some

company in Malaysia. There will be about 00 employees who are including male and female

from each company included. All of them will be selected randomly, including managers and

employees.

This questionnaire consist of 00 questions which divided into 00 sections; Section A, Section B,

Section C. Section A is about collecting demographic information of the participants. Section B

is to know exposure about safety. The other one section, Section C, is to investigate the practice

on safety. The questions consist of 3 types which are free response, ranking, and agreement. In

Section A, there are no questions as in this section the participants only need to fill up their

personal information like their age, gender, race, monthly incomeÊ
Êeducational level.Ê

The participants have to answer all the questions that are asked in Section B and Section C. In

Section B, it consists of 6 parts and each part has 5 questions. Section C, there are 2 part and also

has 5 questions each section. This consists of free response, ranking, and agreement. This survey

questionnaires and interview that will be asked to the participants will take place in any company

in Malaysia.

For instrument, we using the paper then print of questions for make the questionnaire. Next,

questions were distributed to the Managers and Employees and selected randomly for those

involved.Once completed the process, each questionnaire will be marked numbers 1-70 then all

data will be entered into the SPSS statistical value to get the right.Then interview also will be

check for the analysis on data. When getting statistics, we will be able to know the extent of

several companies in Malaysia practice the implementation of OSHA and safety levels at the

company in Malaysia.

These are the steps that are going to be used in statistical technique data from questionnaire.

Step 1: Each questionnaire is numbered from 1 ± 15.

Step 2: Each on questionnaire papers will numbered 1-70 to facilitate the work analyzing.

Step 3: Percentage results are calculated for mengetaui level of security adopted by the company

and how they answer all questions

Step 4: The result from the calculation will be tabulated in a table using Statistical Pakage to

Social Science (SPSS) .
