An internship at UBS is an opportunity to discover – over a period of three to six months
– what it’s like to be part of a client-focused financial services firm. It’s a chance to work
with some of the brightest people in finance. And a chance to pick up the skills – and

As an intern you will be integrated from the beginning in our challenging day-to-day
business. Not only will you learn the business from scratch but you will gain exclusive

Discover your opportunities
in the Graduate Training Program (GTP)
As a trainee you will enter an intensive 12 –24 months long, firm-wide training program
called the Graduate Training Program (GTP). You can start the program in all our different
fields of work. Combining demanding practical work experience and top education and
training, the GTP focuses on specific business skills as well as personal development. You
will also learn about our organization, our core values and the professional standards we
aspire to. We equip you with the knowledge you need to become productive in your field
of work, and you will develop an understanding of the core capabilities of the firm.

You will be fully integrated into your team, deeply involved in business operations and
projects. Some positions involve rotations within a business division to related areas. You
gain insight into the challenges you can expect to encounter and have the opportunity
to build contacts and explore areas of interest.

You will acquire the necessary technical skills to become effective in your future position
through specialized functional education.

Rotational assignments
The hands-on way for you to broaden your know-how and gain experience relevant
to your functional area, rotations are an integral part of the program: they also support
your individual development in relation to your target function.

Program-specific offering
• ‘GTP Discovery’
An intensive two-week development experience immerses you in UBS’s culture and
enables you to meet with all the new graduates worldwide at one of UBS’s campuses.
You will have the chance to work together with Senior Managers and experts from all
business divisions.
