7.(1) A copy each (in English and Hindi) of the following papers, under
sub-section (1) of Section 619A of the Companies Act, 1956:—
(a) Eighty-ninth Annual Report and Accounts of the British India
Corporation Limited (BIC), Kanpur, for the year 2008-09,
together with the Auditor's Report on the Accounts and the
comments of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India
thereon.
(b) Review by Government on the working of the above
Corporation.
(2) Statement (in English and Hindi) giving reasons for the delay in
laying the papers mentioned at (1) above.
8. A copy each (in English and Hindi) of the following papers:—
(a) Annual Report and Accounts of the Development Planning Centre
of the Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi, for the year 2009-10,
together with Auditor’s Report on the Accounts.
(b) Review by Government on the working of the above Centre.

4. Message from Lok Sabha reported and Government Bill laid on the
Table
I. Secretary-General reported to the House, a message from Lok Sabha
informing Rajya Sabha that Lok Sabha at its sitting held on the
1st March, 2011, passed the State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks)
Amendment Bill, 2011.
II. A copy of the State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks) Amendment Bill,
2011, as passed by Lok Sabha, was laid on the Table.

Dr. Ram Prakash laid on the Table, a copy each (in English and Hindi) of
the following Reports of the Department-related Parliamentary Standing
Committee on Rural Development (2010-11):-
(i) Fifteenth Report on Action Taken by the Government on the
recommendations contained in the Sixth Report (Fifteenth Lok
Sabha) on ‘Demands for Grants (2010-11)’ of the Ministry of
Panchayati Raj;
(ii) Sixteenth Report on Action Taken by the Government on the
recommendations contained in the Seventh Report (Fifteenth Lok
Sabha) on ‘Demands for Grants (2010-11)’ of the Ministry of
Rural Development (Department of Land Resources);
(iii) Seventeenth Report on Action Taken by the Government on the
recommendations contained in the Eighth Report (Fifteenth Lok
Sabha) on ‘Demands for Grants (2010-11)’ of the Ministry of
Rural Development (Department of Drinking Water and
Sanitation); and
(iv) Eighteenth Report on Action Taken by the Government on the
recommendations contained in the Ninth Report (Fifteenth Lok

Shri Sultan Ahmed, Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism, laid on
the Table, a statement (in English and Hindi) on the status of implementation
of recommendations contained in the One Hundred and Fifty-fourth Report of
the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport,
Tourism and Culture on Demand for Grants, for the year 2010-11, of the
Ministry of Tourism.

central monitoring of various cases registered in the wake of 1984 anti-Sikh
riots.
