Unique PleoSANUM remedies for Specialized Situations

The ‘Capsule Cure’ affectionately
received its name from the use of one
capsule from four of the seven homeo-
pathic bacterial remedies. These four
remedies are: Pleo Rec, Pleo Ut, Pleo
Lat and Pleo Ut “S”. Along with sev-
eral of the PleoSANUM fungal rem-
edies and pH modulators, the bacterial
‘capsules’ were used to help provoke
an immune response within the body
for specific and generalized purposes
of re-activating the physiological im-
mune response.
The Isopathic/Homeopathic Materia
Medica listed the “Scheme for a Basic
Therapy” as a means of general treat-
ment and ‘if one is unsure of a clear
diagnosis of the case”. This treatment
may be helpful for a variety of condi-
tions as the idea behind the therapy is
the use of general, foundational reme-
dies from several product categories for
an overall generalized treatment. The
four bacterial remedies affect the im-
mune response; the milieu modulators
affect the pH and cellular metabolism
and the fungal remedies reduce the level
of opportunistic, pathogenic microbes.
The immune response heightens the ac-
tivity of the pyogenic response, which
also helps to promote removal of toxic
metabolic debris.
In addition, each of the remedies has a
specific, albeit general site of reaction.
Pleo Rec is often used for the ever-im-
portant mucous membranes. Pleo Ut is
a broad tissue remedy used for ailments
of system tissues, i.e. skin, bones, or-
gans, etc. Pleo Lat has a propensity
toward the liver and deeper tubercu-
linic conditions. While Pleo Ut “S” is
highly recommended for the deeper tu-
berculinic illnesses, especially involv-
ing the lungs.
The ‘Capsule Cure’s’ benefit comes
from using different homeopathic im-
mune stimuli to broaden the interaction
with the immune system. For example,
if one is exposed to a single line of
thinking, then there is a mono-view-
point presented. However, when one
is exposed to multiple lines of think-
ing there is a broader poly-viewpoint
to be considered. As we grow from
infancy, we are exposed to a variety of
virus, bacteria and fungi. Our ability to
interact with this diversity at this mi-
crobial level, via our overall metabolic
support, our immune response and our
emotional attitude helps us to build
strength and familiarity with what
we will be interacting for the rest of
our lives. As we encounter and move
through a microbial imbalance, only to
right ourselves afterwards, perhaps we
build intrinsic character for future di-
versity within the greater aspects of our
lives. Broader than just encountering a
bacteria, we are experiencing a lineage
of immunological information that has
been passed on for generations, which
supports human health and immunolo-
gy. I believe this innate information is
just as necessary as the very vertebral
column that helps to support us.
Using the bacterial remedies within
the Capsule Cure provides not only
the broad-spectrum immune reaction
potential, but also a periodic support-

ive mechanism for health maintenance.
One may use the Scheme for Basic
Therapy several times per year for a
four-week treatment, which also is a
method of re-invigorating the psycho-
neuro-immune response. Thus, we can
promote health, or a healthy reaction in
response to a possible invading patho-
gen at some future point.
Sanukehls for cleansing
the system
Microbes are often seen as detrimen-
tal to humans. However, while some
microbes certainly can be pathogenic,
given the proper milieu, it is not neces-
sarily the microbe that is the problem, it
is the toxins they produce. These tox-
ins may serve as an irritant to the vari-
ous body structures, but are not always
‘visible’ to the immune system. For
example, one may have Candida, get
the Candida levels within normal lim-
its, but still be showing symptoms of
Candida. It is possible for the Candida
to still be the cause of irritation, even at
a normal level within the body. How-
ever, the candi-toxins may actually be
causing the problem. While the toxins
may irritate the host, in order to pro-
tect themselves, the microbes produce
polysaccharides to bind to the toxins so
they do not become auto-toxic. These
toxins and polysaccharides may be
considered partial antigens, as they are
not direct antigens. This same proce-
dure of using polysaccharides to bind
with toxins may also be used therapeu-
tically.
The Sanukehl line of PleoSANUM
Remedies is one of the most unique
forms of natural medical therapy avail-
able today. The products are based on
the principle of using a portion of an
antigen, a partial antigen, to affect a re-
sponse within the immune system once
it is bound to another partial antigen.

This partial antigen is called a hapten.
The simple concept of using a hapten,
as a remedy is not new to medicine,
however the idea of using microbial
polysaccharides, homeopathically as
haptens is!
A hapten is considered a partial anti-
gen because it is generally perceived
to be too small in molecular weight to
be antigenic. A partial antigen does not
cause an immune response, although
some people consider that the hapten
may still be antigenic. A hapten needs
another partial antigen, a carrier, which
may also be too small to be antigenic.
However, when the two contact one
another, they bind to form a complete
antigen. In this capacity, they become
‘visible’ to the immune system and
thus, may be immunologically recog-
nized and eliminated.

The Sanukehl haptens are polysaccha-
rides extracted from various bacteria
or fungi of the same name, i.e. Pleo
San Staph polysaccharides derived
from Staphylococcus aureus, which
are then homeopathically prepared as a
natural medicine. The medical use of
these haptens enables one to facilitate
a clearing of the toxin or perhaps oth-
er microbial debris, which otherwise
would continue to irritate the body.
Pleo San Cand (Candida), Pleo San
Strep (Streptococcus) and Pleo San
Staph (Staphylococcus) are some of
the commonly used Sanukehls due to
the number of medical conditions as-
sociated with these micro-organisms.
The remedies are clinically functional
in helping to clear residue associated
with chronic issues and sometimes ap-
pear to be the significant remedy for
clearing a case.
Another Sanukehl that I have found
to be particularly useful is Pleo San
Acne. Derived from Propionibacteri-
um acne, this remedy along with Pleo
Not drops, rubbed into the affected fa-
cial area 2X/day has been very useful
in treating acne. Pleo San Klebs has
been clinically beneficial in treating
Klebsiella infections of the G.I. and re-
spiratory systems.
The Sanukehls may be used by them-
selves, with other PleoSANUM rem-
edies, or with other modalities. I gen-
erally recommend that they be used in
a divided dosage: topically, rubbed into
the site of the condition and orally. For
example, one might prescribe 10 drops
2X/day, with five drops rubbed into the
inner bend of the elbow and five drops
taken orally.
Lesser Known Homeopathic
Fungal Remedies Fulfill
Unique Niche
The PleoSANUM homeopathic fungal
remedies have been a flagship product
line for well over a decade of clinical
use in the U.S. Their distinctive action
upon microbial imbalances including
virus, bacteria and fungi, has offered
therapeutic advantages for many dis-
ease conditions. Generally, the well-
known fungal products such as, Pleo
Not, Pleo Fort, Pleo Muc and Pleo
Nig to name a few are used more of-
ten than others. However, there are
other lesser-known products, which are
particularly beneficial for a number of
conditions.
Pleo Usti, Pleo Grif, Pleo Pin and
Pleo Lari are four of these lesser
known, albeit therapeutically support-
ive products. Pleo Usti is a fungal
remedy derived from corn smut, a fun-
gus that forms galls as it grows on corn
and which is considered a delicacy in
Mexico. The galls are collected when
 they are immature, of-
ten a few weeks after
the corn is infected.
They have a flavor
similar to mushrooms,
that has been described
as sweet and savory,
woody, and earthy.
Pleo Usti
Ustilago zeae
As a remedy, Pleo Usti
has shown profound benefit for female
menstrual issues, particularly Metror-
rhagia. Used at the dosage recom-
mended on the bottle, 5 - 10 drops a day,
orally, has been able to assist women in
regulating their menstrual cycles. Pleo
Usti was also the solution for a woman
who was post-menopausal with break-
through bleeding. After three days on
the above dosage, the bleeding discon-
tinued and did not return.
Pleo Grif, a rem-
edy made from
the well-known
fungus Grifola
frondosa, a.k.a.
Pleo Grif Maitake mush-
Grifola frondosa room. There have
been many studies on the use of the
Maitake mushroom, so it is a well-
known therapeutic remedy from many
sources. However, the SANUM meth-
od of utilizing the mushroom is differ-
ent, being based upon Dr. Enderlein’s
method of production and using the
fungi therapeutically.
It has been clinically beneficial for the
treatment of Varicella zoster, otherwise
known as shingles. The drops may be
topically applied over the lesions and
then used orally. It is a distinct pos-
sibility that the use of the remedy may
induce a homeopathic healing aggra-
vation. However, my experience has
been that this is transient, subsiding
within a few hours and showing sig-
nificant relief afterwards. I usually use
the Pleo Grif along with the other vi-
ral supportive remedy, Pleo Quent. I
recommend that both be used topically
over the zoster lesions as well as orally
two to three times/day.
Pleo Pin is the
remedy made
from Fomitopsis
pinicola. The fun-
gus mostly grows
on living or dead
conifers. How-
ever, as a remedy

cated for liver and

such, it is also as-
sociated with the management of the
lymphatic system and overall fluid reg-
ulation as it relates to the spleen.
Pleo Pin can be an excellent support
remedy for patients in cases associated
with immune system imbalances, virus,
lymphatic congestion and edema.

nalis, is a fungus
often found on

living trees, as
well. It is one

found to be the ‘correct’ remedy, is very
much the ‘right’ remedy of choice for
the patient. This means that there are
instances whereby patients just do not
seem to respond to the typical medi-
cines associated with her/his case. The
person may have some unique symp-
tom or set of symptoms, which tends to
distinguish it from other similar condi-
tions. Pleo Lari is often indicated for
such a patient with the combination of
respiratory and gastro-intestinal issues.
These various PleoSANUM Remedies
offer the biological medicine practi-
tioner an expanded array of functional
homeopathic therapeutics. As many of
us have found, the PleoSANUM Rem-
