SALAFI GROUPS IN THE WORLD

There are over 150 Salalfi Groups in the world.  Each Group claim that  it is on the right path 
and accuse other Salafi Groups as Kafirs.  Prominent among them are as follows. Information on
these groups is available on internet and other resources.

Some of them (like Deobandis, Tabhlighees, Jamat-Islami, Ikhwanul Muslimeen, etc.)  do not
like to be tagged as part of Salafi Group in order to maintain their independent identity, even
though their beliefs are heavily influenced by Salafi teachings.

It is in Hadith - reported by Hadhrat Abu Naim (‫ )رضئ ہللا تعالی عنہ‬in his book titled 'Huliya'. 
Hazrat Abu Umana Bahili (‫ )رضئ ہللا تعالی عنہ‬narrates that Prophet ( ‫ ) صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬said 
‘Before Qiyamah, they ( the misguided sects and their sub groups) will spread and attack bitterly
like the small and large insects and whosoever witnesses this period must seek refuge in Allah (
‫( )سبحانہ و تعا لی‬Huliya).

  

The above Hadith clearly states that, among the misguided groups like Salafis and others, some
will be very large and some will be small and they will attack  the Iman (Aqeedah) of Muslims
from all over the world.  It is very difficult to sustain their poisonous bites (Da'wa).  We seek
Allah's (‫ )سبحانہ و تعا لی‬refuge from their misleading Daw'a.

It is in Hadith - Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri (‫)رضئ ہللا تعالی عنہ‬: Allah's Apostle ( ‫صلى هللا عليه و آله‬
‫ ) وسلم‬said, "A time will come that the best property of a Muslim will be sheep which he will take
on the top of mountains and the places of rainfall (valleys) so as to flee with his religion (faith)
from afflictions."  (Bukhari - Book #2, Hadith #18)

The above Hadith indeed signifies our time when it is  extremely difficult for Muslims to protect 
their Sahih Iman from the Dawa' campaigns of misguided Salafi and other Groups.

  
Using of  Quranic verses meant for  Paagans (Mushrikeen-e-Makka) on Prophet Mohammad (
‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬, Sahabah (‫ ) رضئ اللھ تعالی عنہم اجمعین‬and Awliya Allah was first started by
Ibn Taymiyyah (1263–1328) which was followed by his students and intellectual heirs, as
follows.

  

 (i) Ibn al-Qayyim (1292–1350),

 (ii) al-Mizzi (1256–1341),

 (iii) Ibn Kathir (1301–1372),

 (iv) ad-Dhahabi (1274–1348),

 (v) al-Birzali (1267–1339),

 (vi) Ibn Abd-al-Wahhab (1703–1792),      (vii) Hasan Al-Banna (1906-1949),

(viii) Shah Ismail Dehlvi (1776-1829), (ix) Rashid Ahmad Gangohi (1829,1905),

(x) Muhammad Qasim Nanotvi (1832-1880),

(xi) Ashraf Ali Thanvi (1863-1943)

(xii) Mohammad Ilyas (1885-1944), (xiii) Abul Ala Maududi (1903-1979), (xiv) Abd al Aziz Ibn
Baz (1910-1999), (xv) Muhammad Uthaymeen At-Tamimi (1925-2001),

(xvi) Mohammad Nasiruddin Al-Baani (1914-1999),

(xvii) Israr Ahmad (1932-2010),

(xviii) Taqi Usmani (born 1943) and (xix) Zakir Naik (born 1965).

  

Before Ibn Taymiyyah, nobody dared to indulge in such malice and wickedness towards Prophet
Mohammad (‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬, Sahabah (‫ ) رضئ اللھ تعالی عنہم اجمعین‬and Awliya Allah.

  

Identification of Salafi Groups  

  
    (i) They believe in a Sky Idol God who has two hands,  two eyes,  one face, two legs, two
shins, two feet, fingers in hands and feet, who is extremely big and sits on the sky on a big chair
and walks down to first sky in the night and goes back to his seat.  They call their Sky God
(Akaash Devata) as  Allah ( La haula wala quwwata illah billah). The misinterpret Quranic
verses and Ahadith to misguide innocent Muslims.   They believe that this Idol God has sent all
Messengers and all scriptures into the world. They say that  their Sky God has fabricated Adam (
‫ ) علیھ السال م‬from his two hands.

 (ii) They accept and honor Ibn Taymiyyah as their Imam or Shaikh and follow most of his
teachings openly.

 (iii) Aggressiveness,  intolerance and militancy and are part of their culture. However, these
characteristics are more prominent in some groups than others.  

 (iii)  They are united in  the disrespect of Prophet of Islam (‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬, his family
members, Sahabah (‫ ) رضئ اللھ تعالی عنہم اجمعین‬and Awliya Allah. As a matter of fact every Group
tries to outdo others in this respect.

 (a) They claim that Prophet Mohammad (‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬, his family members, Sahabah (
‫ ) رضئ اللھ تعالی عنہم اجمعین‬and Awliya Allah are dead in the same way  as Mushrikeen and other
Idol worshipers ( ‫)استغفر ہللا‬.  Visiting their graves is just like visiting of  Hindu Idols or Hindu
graveyards. (‫)استغفر ہللا‬.  Therefore, whoever visits the sacred graves of Prophet Mohammad (‫صلى‬
‫)هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬, his family members, Sahabah (‫ ) رضئ اللھ تعالی عنہم اجمعین‬and Awliya Allah for
tabarruk is declared as 'Grave Worshiper' and Kafir (‫)استغفر ہللا‬.

  

 (b) They overwhelmingly support each other in destroying the graves of family members of
Prophet

Mohammad (‫لم‬pp‫ه وس‬pp‫)صلى هللا عليه و آل‬, his Sahabah (‫الی عنہم اجمعین‬pp‫ئ اللھ تع‬pp‫ ) رض‬and Awliya Allah
because, they claim that these graves are places of dirt and apostasy ( ‫)استغفر ہللا‬.

For them, anything or any relic related to Prophet (‫لم‬pp‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وس‬, his family and his
Sahabah (‫ ) رضئ اللھ تعالی عنہم اجمعین‬is extremely dirty and a source of shirk which should not be
touched or kissed,  rather thrown into  Municipality  bins ( ‫)استغفر ہللا‬.

 
It is in Quran -  َ‫ارُون‬ppَ‫ ٰى َوآ ُل ه‬p‫وس‬ َ ‫ك آ ُل ُم‬ ُ ‫ال لَهُ ْم نَبِيُّهُ ْم إِ َّن آيَةَ ُم ْل ِك ِه أَن يَأْتِيَ ُك ُم التَّاب‬
َ ‫ُوت فِي ِه َس ِكينَةٌ ِّمن َّربِّ ُك ْم َوبَقِيَّةٌ ِّم َّما تَ َر‬ َ َ‫َوق‬
ُ ُ ُ َّ ً َ ٰ ُ ْ ُ
َ‫تَحْ ِملهُ ال َماَل ئِ َكة ۚ إِ َّن فِي ‌ذلِكَ آَل يَة لك ْم إِن كنتم ُّم ْؤ ِمنِين‬    [ Meaning -  And (further) their Prophet (‫) علیھ السال م‬
said to them: "A Sign of his authority is that there shall come to you the Ark of the covenant,
with (an assurance) therein of security from your Lord, and the relics left by the family of Moses
(‫ ) علیھ السال م‬and the family of Aaron (‫) علیھ السال م‬, carried by angels. In this is a symbol for you if
you indeed have faith."] (Al-Baqara - 248).

The above Quranic verse is related to Bani Israel (Jews).  One of their Prophet ( ‫ ) علیھ السال م‬told
them that Angels will carry relics of Musa ( ‫ ) علیھ السال م‬and Haroon ( ‫) علیھ السال م‬.  Allah (‫سبحانہ و‬
‫ )تعا لی‬describes that these relics are sacred and important for people and a sign of security for
them.

Ad Dhahbi a famous Salafi Scholar reported that Abd Allah ibn Ahmad (the son of Imam Ahmad
Ibn Hanbal) said: "I saw my father take a hair that belonged to the Prophet (‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬,
put it on his mouth, and kiss it. I believe I saw him put it on his eyes. He also dipped it in water
and drank the water to obtain cure. I saw him take the Prophet's (‫ )صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬bowl
(qas'a), wash it in water, and drink from it. I saw him drink Zamzam water in order to seek cure
with it, and he wiped his hands and face with it."  It is also authentically established that 'Abd
Allah asked is father about those who touch the pommel of the Prophet's (‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬
pulpit and touch the wall of the Prophet's (‫ )صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬room, and he said: "I do not see
any harm in it." May Allah protect us and you from the opinion of the Khawarij (Salafis,
Deobandis

 and their like minded groups) and from innovations! (Ad-Dhahabi, Siyar A'lam al-Nubala'
(9:457). Chapter on Imam Ahmad, section entitled  Min Adabih).

As per the above Quranic verse and Hadith reverence of relics of Prophets is part of Islamic
faith.

Wahhabis / Salafis and their like minded groups,  say that the relics of Prophet Mohammad (‫صلى‬
‫ )هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬are a source of Shirk and preserving them or kissing them out of reverence is
also shirk.  They even destroyed Prophet Mohammad's (‫ )صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬house in Makka
where he lived 28 years with his family.  One of the rooms in this house was used by Prophet (
‫ )صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬for Salah and Zikr in the nights, where Jibreel ( ‫ ) علیھ السال م‬used to visit and
sit often.  They destroyed this house and made  a Public Toilet on it.       

 
Salafis living in Saudi Arabia ( about 300 millions)  and Muslims from all over the world who
come for Umra and Hajj and Ziyara (about 100 millions) are made to shit, urinate and spit 24
hours of the day on the sacred place where Prophet Mohammad (‫ )صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬used to
pray. Other Groups like Deobandis, Tabhlighees, Jamaat-e-Islami, and their like minded, support
Salafis  in these actions.  We fail to understand what kind of people they are and what kind of
Islam they follow? They are totally fearless from Hell Fire.

Muslims from all over the world should know,  what will happen to them (in Hereafter)  if they
shit, urinate and spit at the place where Prophet Mohammad (‫ )صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬lived and did
Salah and Zikr and where Jibreel (‫ ) علیھ السال م‬used to sit along with the other dignitaries, like
Khulfa-e-Rashideen  and other Sahabah (‫) رضئ اللھ تعالی عنہم اجمعین‬.

Imagine how serious issue is this,  as you are insulting and humiliating Prophet Mohammad (‫صلى‬
‫)هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬, his family members, Sahabah (‫ ) رضئ اللھ تعالی عنہم اجمعین‬and Jibreel  ( ‫علیھ السال م‬
) in the most wicked manner.  Will your Umra and Hajj be accepted by Allah (‫?)سبحانہ و تعا لی‬ 
Will your Iman be accepted by Allah (‫ )سبحانہ و تعا لی‬on the Day of Judgment?  Think about it.

Don't be under the impression that your actions will go unpunished.  A massive fire is kept ready
for those who are involved in disrespect of Prophet Mohammad (‫ ) صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬in this
world and for those who approve this disrespect.

Salafis are planning to destroy the Green dome and the Grave of Prophet Mohammad (‫صلى هللا‬
‫ )عليه و آله وسلم‬along with the Graves of Abu Bakr  (‫ )رضئ ہللا تعالی عنہ‬and Omer. (‫رضئ ہللا تعالی‬
‫)عنہ‬.  Deobandies, Tabhlighees and like minded  groups wholeheartedly support them in this
conspiracy.
 

Allama Ahmad bin Ali Basri states in the book ‘Faslul Khitaab fi Rad’di Dalaalati Ibn Abdil
Wahab’ as follows : ‘From amongst the things he (Abdul Wahab Najdi) mentioned one thing, ‘if
I attain the opportunity to do so, then I will break down the Rauza of Holy Prophet (‫صلى هللا عليه و‬
‫ )آله وسلم‬.’ (Faslul Khitaab fi Rad’di Dalaalati Ibn Abdil Wahab).

A pamphlet published in 2007 by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
endorsed by Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, and distributed at the
Prophet's (‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬  Masjid,  reads as follows: The green dome shall be demolished
and the three graves flattened in the Prophet's (‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬  Masjid; according to Alawi,
Executive Director of the London based Islamic Heritage Research Foundation. This shocking
sentiment was echoed in several speeches by Ibn al-Uthaymeen, one of Saudi Arabia's most
prominent Wahhabi clerics, who delivered sermons in  Makkah's Grand  Masjid for over 35
years: 'We hope one day we will be able to destroy the green dome of the Prophet Mohammed (
‫ )صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬he said, in a recording provided by Al Alawi. The other sects, like Ahle
Hadith, Deobandis, Jama'at-e-Islami, Tabhlighee Jama'at, etc.,

 also say that green dome of Prophet Mohammad (‫ )صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬should be destroyed.

The same Wahhabis acted differently when the Sufi cemetery was razed by Syrian Wahhabis to
make way for the University of Damascus and its campus in that city - King Abd al-Aziz Ibn
Sa`ud of Saudi Arabia intervened personally to preserve intact the graves and tombs of Ibn
Taymiyya and his student Ibn Kathir.

This proves that Wahhabis are the worst enemies of Prophet Mohammad (‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬
and Islam.  In the guise of purifying Islam, they have actually attempted to disintegrate and
destroy Islam and Muslims from the face of Earth.   We pray Allah (‫ )سبحانہ و تعا لی‬to save our
Prophet (‫ )صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬and Islam from the oppression of  these people.

(c) They cooperate with each other in altering Ahadith books, original Islamic literature,
meanings of the holy Quran and entire  Islamic heritage.
 

They proudly say that Al-Baani has removed over 5000 Ahadith from the authentic Ahadith
books like Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Nasai, Abu Dawood, Ibn Maaja, Ahmad, Muatta and
others because these were against their Sky God Aqeedah. They consider all Imams of Ahadith,
including Bukhari & Muslim as un-trustworthy, because, as per their claim,  all  Imams of
Ahadith wrote concocted (Maudu) and weak Ahadith in their books.  They accept only those
Ahadith that have been approved (read altered) by Al-Baani.

(d) They feel happy to humiliate and insult the Prophet of Islam (‫)صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم‬, important
Islamic dignitaries and Awliya Allah in whatever manner they can.  Read shocking details.

(iv)  Some of these groups claim they do not follow any Imam of Fiqh. Some say they follow 
'Imam Ahmad. Some of them claim they follow Iman Abu Hanifa (like Deobandis, Tabhlighees,
Jamat-e-Islami, etc.).  Some say they follow all 4 Imams (like Zakiris - the followers of Zakir
Naik).
