RECRUITMENT OF CLERKS - 2011

GUIDELINES

The A.P.Mahesh Co.op. Urban Bank Ltd., a leading Multi-State Scheduled Co.op. Urban Bank in South
India is hiring talented and aspiring individuals for the post of Clerks.

Eligible candidates are advised to apply online between 29.03.2011 to 15.04.2011 (inclusive of both days)
only through the bank’s website after carefully going through the instructions contained in this
advertisement. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.

Date of Written Examination 15.05.2011


Candidates are advised to download call letters for appearing in the written test from the website by
entering their registration number and password which will be generated at the time of applying
online.
2. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications Commerce Graduate from a recognized University with


adequate knowledge of computer applications.
However, those candidates who are appearing for final
examination this year are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit 28 years
(eligibility as on 01.03.2011)

2. Emoluments, Career prospects and Service conditions

The appointment of Trainee Clerk (on contract) will be purely on contractual basis. The contract
would be initially for a period of one year and this may be reviewed for extension for one more
year, subject to satisfactory performance. On successful completion of a period of 2 years of
contractual service, such appointees may become eligible for considering them for appointment as
Clerk/Cashier in the Bank subject to availability of vacancies.

The Trainee Clerk (on contract) will be eligible to draw aggregate remuneration subject to
satisfactory performance, which is as under:

@ `10,000/- per month (including statutory payments) in the first year and
@ `11,000/- per month (including statutory payments) in the second year.
The appointment being purely contractual in nature, the appointee shall not be entitled for any
superannuation benefits whatsoever. Also, the contractual period of service would not be counted
for any superannuation benefits/seniority, in case, the appointee is considered for appointment in
the services of Bank as a regular full time employee at a later stage.

4. Application Fee Details (Non refundable)

Application fee: Rs. 350/-

5. How to apply
Eligible candidates have to apply online through the Bank’s website only. No other means/
mode of application are acceptable. Before registering their applications on the website,
candidates should possess the following:

(i) An e-mail id which shall be valid for the duration of the recruitment process. In case the
candidate does not have a valid e-mail id, he/ she has to create a new email id before
applying online.

(ii) Application Fees can be remitted through The AP Mahesh Co-op Urban Bank or any other
Banks (through NEFT). The details of the account to which fee to be remitted are as
follows:

Note: The name of the candidate should be mentioned in ‘Remarks’ Column in NEFT
application while remitting the examination fee.

Candidates are advised to write his/her name in the remarks column.

The following details should invariably be mentioned while applying online.


• NEFT Reference Number
• Date of Remittance
• Amount Remitted
• Bank Name
• Branch Name
Candidates have to ensure that the above details are obtained from their Bank.

(iii) The payment towards recruitment application fees can be made from 29.03.2011
onwards, but before the close of business hours on 15.04.2011. Even if the Bank extends
the last date of registration of online applications due to technical reasons, the valid dates
during which the payment should be made as indicated above will not be changed.

(iv) After remitting the application fee, logon to our Bank’s website
www.apmaheshbank.com and follow the link Careers. Then click “apply online”. An
online application will open. Fill up all the details required in the application and click
“Submit” available at the bottom of the online application and the online application will
be registered. A Registration Number and Password will appear on the screen. Kindly
note this information for future use. Candidates are required to take a printout of the
online application using the above registration number and password. The printout of
application form is required to be submitted at the time of interview.
(v) Candidates are required to bring the following to the examination centre:
1. Print out of Call Letter (which can be downloaded by the candidate using the
registration number and password obtained at the time of registration of online
application). A recent passport size photograph has to be affixed on the system
generated call letter.

2. Original Counterfoil of application fee Without the above-mentioned documents


the candidate will not be admitted for the written examination.

6. Centres for the Written Test

The Bank will conduct the written test at Hyderabad only.

7. An application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and the application fee once paid
will NOT BE refunded on any account nor would be held in reserve for any future examination or
selection. The application fee shall also NOT BE refunded in case the application is rejected / not
considered by the Bank.

8. Candidates will have to appear for written test to be conducted by the Bank. The successful
candidates will be called for an interview. Subject to their being medically fit for employment, the
selected candidates will be initially appointed as trainees for two years purely on contract basis.
On successful completion of a period of 2 years of contractual service, such appointees may
become eligible for considering them for appointment as Clerk/Cashier in the Bank subject to
availability of vacancies. The Bank reserves the right to reject any application without assigning
any reason and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

9. The Bank takes no responsibility for any delay in submission of online applications or
communication. Candidates in their own interest are advised to ensure that payment through
NEFT has been successfully remitted as per above instructions and submit the online applications
well before the last date.

10. Candidates are advised to ensure that they are eligible on the parameters of qualifications and age
as prescribed above. In case the candidates do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria, they
may be disqualified at any stage of the recruitment process.
