Information for Fellows

Peace Corps and Ashoka: Celebrating Anniversaries and Collaborations
The Ashoka and Peace Corps communities share many powerful points of intersection throughout our history: Volunteers
have trained Fellows during their early professional development (Badara Jobe), worked with Fellows organizations
(Halidou Ouedraogo) and have become Fellows after building on their Peace Corps experience to launch system
changing ventures (Greg Van Kirk and Elisabeth Stock). In Burkina Faso, Ashoka Fellows and Peace Corps Volunteers
are collaborating to build mutual capacity and maximize impact for the communities they serve. Read more here. If
you’ve collaborated with the Peace Corps, please share your story at advantage@ashoka.org

Bioenergy and Food Security Criteria and Indicators (BEFSCI) project of FAO
BEFSCI is reaching out to producers to catalogue and showcase innovative approaches that have been used in sustainable
bioenergy initiatives. We want to hear stories, experiences, lessons learned about what made these pioneering
activities a success both for the producers and for the local communities. For more details, click here.
