KEITH GELLER
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
19
A New York native, Keith Geller graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison class of 97’ with a
major in Political Science and a minor in Business. After graduation he traveled through parts of Europe
and Africa before settling in Seville, Spain where he met his wife Monica, with whom he has two
wonderful young children. Upon returning from Spain, Keith obtained his NYC commercial real-estate
license and got a taste for the fashion industry leasing office/production space to businesses in New
York’s garment district. His next career move incidentally introduced him to the world of employment
agencies. Hoping to obtain a Wall Street trading position during the stock market boom, Keith met with
financial headhunter/Principal and was instead hired to work and mentor directly under him. It was during
this time that Keith obtained much of his foundation of knowledge on all aspects of the staffing industry.
After 2 years of full cycle recruiting, an opportunity to enter the fast paced equity trading market
presented itself with one of his clients and Keith spent the next 4 years riding the roller coaster
before being summoned back to the world of recruiting by his life long friend Bryan Zaslow. Since joining
Bryan as a Partner and Chief Operating Officer, the JBC companies have grown from 6 employees to 50+
and have opened offices in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Francisco as well as numerous satellite
offices throughout the US. Keith has been instrumental in this growth as well as in securing and
negotiating the move of JBC’s New York headquarters to the heart of the fashion district. He also
designed its open and welcoming loft-like space. Keith proudly serves as the Director of the Ira Zaslow
Foundation and was the driving force behind the annual Fashion Scholarship Program that debuted with
tremendous success in 2007. This program has raised upwards of $65,000 to date and continues to grow
with each year. For Keith, the satisfaction that comes with JBC’s overwhelming success and growth is
only dwarfed by the sheer enjoyment of taking the journey with the ones he loves.
