Downtown  Offers  Fun  and  Romantic  Options  for  a  Valentine’s  Celebration  
 
Dayton,  Feb.  1,  2011  –  On  Valentine’s  weekend  and  day,  downtown  Dayton  will  offer  a  variety  of  entertainment  and  
specials  to  celebrate.  Below  is  a  list  of  events  at  various  downtown  venues:  
 
Feb.  10  •  Cannery  Art  and  Design  Center,  434  E.  Third  St.  
7  to  10  p.m.    
Start  off  the  Valentine’s  Day  weekend  by  giving  to  a  great  cause  while  having  fun.  The  Cannery  Art  and  Design  Center  
will  host  an  evening  of  live  music,  dancing,  food,  drinks  and  door  prizes  with  proceeds  benefiting  the  YMCA  Youth  and  
Teen  programs.  The  evening  also  will  feature  a  live  auction.  This  event  is  for  ages  21  and  older.  Tickets  are  $35  per

The  Dayton  Ballet  heats  up  Valentine’s  Day  with  Karen  Russo  Burke’s  steamy  and  sultry  A  Streetcar  Named  Desire,  with

On  the  Friday  before  Valentine’s  Day,  the  market  will  offer  great  gifts,  such  as  flowers,  elaborately  decorated  desserts,  
jewelry,  wine,  soaps  and  much  more.  Also,  help  those  in  need  by  filling  the  heart  in  the  pavilion  with  non-­‐perishable
