UNIQUE TRAINING OPPORTUNITY

Archway Glasgow is Scotland’s first Sexual Assault Referral Centre. It provides forensic
and medical assistance, as well as support and counselling for anyone who has recently
been raped or sexually assaulted.

We are offering an opportunity to take part in a training event to be hosted in May/June

2011 at The Campanile Hotel Glasgow, 10 Tunnel Street, G3 8HL

The training will explore the following: Background to Archway/Equalities &

Diversity/Impact of Rape and Sexual Assault/Gender Based Violence/Sexual Offences
Legislation/Interpretation of Injuries/ Forensic Evidence and Examination/ Management
of Adolescents/Practical case studies.

DATES:
− 31 May, 01, 02* and 03 June 2011

*02 May is very specific to Archway staff processes but you may attend this day if you wish.

Places for this event are limited. The costs are:

£150 per day (£120 per day for voluntary organisations)

£370 for 3 days (£320 for voluntary organisations)
£500 for 4 days (£450 for voluntary organisation)
