Working in the technology world I'm completely enthralled and excited by some of the

advancements that we've made as a race. Its remarkable yet in the vastness of this universe all
those glorious techy steps taken forward can seem so insignificant when we contemplate the
limitless cosmos. Its something unbelievable that above our earthly atmosphere there are trillions
of stars, galaxies and universes that have yet to be discovered. When I try to fathom this I'm in
awe and give all praise to that remarkable Creator of all things and say Wow. It can bring a grown
man to tears. Tears that reflect upon sheer humility and humbleness.

I hope to not use the letter I too much in reference to whatever makes up the ingredients that
makes me me. We're all comprised of the same ingredients whether we accept that or not is a
different matter.

The purpose of this doc is to discuss the most humble and exhalted life of the 10 Sikh Gurus and
how they conducted themselves as model human beings for a new earth, new world where Love
should be the pre-eminent shared emotion amongst all of us. The notion of Love Thy Neighbor
and Do Unto Others is not necessarily a new concept but reinforced in an elaborate manner that
exudes perfect Love. If one were to study the documented written history of the lives of the 10
Sikh Gurus (True Spiritual Masters and Enlighters in the Dark Age known as Kaliyug) the details
would reveal fascinating and endearing facts (not fiction) and display a zeal for excellence in Life
and demonstrate absolute humility and submission to God. If there were to be a model citizen for
humanity you would not need to look any further than any of these Gurus or their true followers.

Before anything, there has to be a declaration or proclaimation contrary to what has been said
about the followers of Sikhism: It is not a religion. Over time to establish a place with the large
religions the custodians of Sikhism have fallen prey to conform to the norm and label the spiritual
movement a religion. Any group of human beings that strive for spiritual excellence and
enlightenment can never be bound by the faith they are born into regardless of the so-called
household they are born into and whatever religion that that household may follow. In short this
means the soul has no limits and cannot be categorized as a follower of so and so. The humble
being who adores his Creator and praises his Creator and serves his Creator in turn serving the
Creator's creation (us as the human race, the planet, animals, environment, all creatures) with
selfless Love is not bound by the word religion. This being is religion-less and at the same time
the most Holy of Holies. The Sikh Scripture says such a being is one in a billion or trillion not just
millions. The Sikh Holy Scripture is known as The Sri Guru Granth Sahib (term of respect and
endearment) or in short Gurbani. The Gurbani is 1430 beautiful and Loving Pages that Sikhs feel
and truly believe to be the Word of the Unseen, Unheard, Colorless, Faceless and Bodyless God
communicated to God's messengers and foot soldiers the 10 Glorious Sikh Gurus. The Gurbani is
considered the Living Guru since it holds all the teachings of the Gurus themselves written by
themselves in first account during their wordly interactions and conversations with humanity and
with God. Without a Guru (Spiritual Teacher) a human being cannot reach their destination. The
paralle worlds, universes and afterlives cannot be navigated if the soul has not practiced
immaculate living and worship of God while living on this planet with a physical body for the
prescribed time that we all call LIFE.

The origins of Sikhism starts from breaking down the social and religious injustice that was
prevalent in Medieval India but most importantly to bring the Torch of Spiritual Godly Light to the
unguided (rich or poor, weak or strong, any faith any religion), who could be anyone and
anywhere. Spiritual Wisdom and Hindu Scripture Knowledge was not shared due to the ancient
caste system in India at that time and Guru Nanak Dev Ji, The First Guru, emphatically crushed
this notion and said that the Lord, the Lord's Wisdom and the Lord's Love is for all Human beings
and thus declared there is no such thing as religion. He has been quoted to say that there is no
religion and that we do not know the depths of God, His Love and His Energy.

This individual who follows the Gurbani and Sikh Guru's teachings when done so in full conduct is
a saint, a spiritual warrior and the reflection of the Lord's Love on this planet. Such an individual
maintains the balance of hope and goodness during the times of utter despair and hopelessness
for the meek and weak on this planet. This indivual's attributes are utter humility, one who's Love
is bursting yet their speech is limiting. They rarely speak beyond what is necessary and measure
each word to keep the Ego in check. Their humility arises from their practiced ability to destroy
their Ego, Pride and related vices. The Gurbani indicates amongst many wonderful details that
the human being is inflicted inwardly by 5 major vices (even though the human's enemies are all
within and an enemy of himself) that swirl around each one of us like marauding devils and thugs.
This description indicates that our thoughts and actions attract the negative or positive aura that
allows us to prosper or be miserable. Each of us has a so-called soft spot to at least one if not all
of the 5 vices. Through this revelation the challenge is layed out for each of us in this life. Our
Challenge is always with us and any externally perceived challenge from another human being or
thing is a phallacy and a reflection of whats ailing us from within. The Sikh Gurus always taught to
be self-introspective. They were probably the greatest therapists known to man. They were
blessed by our Lord and were governed to assist humanity to walk out of the darkness and
harness their internal light. They taught the world that our faults as humans are so vast that we
have no right to point fingers at others about any of their faults. Our challenge is to overcome our
proverbial achilles heel to the many vices and through this lifelong challenge we will attain higher
spiritual contentment. One of the main components regarding spiritual wisdom is that
Enlightenment is only true when a person's mind/soul/actions/thoughts (all in unison) are
completely Humble and serve in humility his Guru, his Lord, Ego-less and without Pride.
According to Sikhs the Guru who lit the way to God is synonmous to God. It means that the Sikh
is Greatful to God for providing him the Perfect Guru and Greatful to The Perfect Guru for
revealing God. God is untouchable and unreachable by humans. Any other description to say
humans can reach God is not necessarily correct. To submit to God's Will only indicates that
you've accepted your Creator. Spiritual Wisdom is bestowed upon the few and submission is only
the first step. The journey of spirituality has only begun. God does not teach the methods to reach
Him directly however He shares that knowledge with those He feels that have become
immaculate themselves and they in turn share with Humanity out of selfless Love. The Sikh
Gurus are utterly humble and describe their experiences. To shun spiritual wisdom by pure souls
is to purposely remain in the dark and say that you can see clearly. The spiritual individual
meditates on the Internal and Silent Holy Energy that remains untapped in each and every human
being. The Soul and Silent Hol Energy within us has been set their by our Creator, God, Lord. Its
the mechanism put in place by God to reunite with us. It remains untapped and the very simple
technique is described beautifully in Gurbani. All rituals, tactics, yogas, charities, donations and
actions that make us feel good about ourselves are utterly useless when travelling the path of
Spiritual Enlightenment. The Sikh Gurus through their living example demonstrated the simple
technique of how to live and participate as humans, how to meditate as humans and how to
become spiritual masters and find absolute Peace and a permanent place with the Lord. They
demonstrated how to draw from that Silent Holy Energy and attain perfection without ever
seeking any ends to the means. They just did without wanting the labels of master, guru, teacher,
holy saint or any label that would qualify and quantify their spirituality and wisdom and Godly
knowledge. They remained humble while others praised them. Thus to attain true Bliss there is a
simple process and it starts with humility. You cannot find bliss prescribed by false gurus, false
prophets, false magicians, false practioners and the lot. Enlightenment is not easily had and then
easily passed out like candy on halloween. It takes a lifetime and in most cases it takes living
many lives to polish the soul and remove the tarnish of countless dirty lives and become Ego-
less. No person can atone for your sins, you must pay the reaper when that time comes. What
you reap is what you sow. Only the good souls and spiritually aware souls who meditated and
worshipped the Lord here maybe atoned. The notion of one life is false and many faiths proclaim
one life to live and judgement day and sin atonement. Unfortunately our soul will be judged on our
deeds and actions here on this planet and we've been doing millions of actions individually for
thousands if not millions of years as our soul is as timeless as God. Its God's gift to us and we
decline to see it and understand its lifespan and roots. Its Again the humble meditating soul that is
Immaculate. Only the Spiritual Master can decide on who to pass their Enlightenment to. Each
action by this being or entity or soul is measured. The Spiritual Master awakens the inner spirit of
a human based on that human's current actions in this life and past lives (karma). The Guru re-
lights the soul and begins the soul's vibration to the unseen, unheard holy sounds of the Lord.
Hence the hymns and holy songs within Sikhism tune the mind to the soul's inner sound energy.
The Sikh Gurus assist and steer and guide the human to the path of the Primal Lord,e Creator,
God, Yahweh, Allah or whatever name that can be labelled to the Master who is label-less.

To summarize and not confuse. A Sikh practices pure humility, powerful disciplined meditation,
prayer from the depths of his longing heart and soul and through singing praise of his Master, His
Guru who bestowed the Glorious Wisdom upon him. A sikh in his daily life shares his spirituality,
income, wealth, food, dwellings, love, sweat, blood and tears for the benefit of the weak, the
hungry and all of humanity. A sikh, (known as the student or disciple of his True Guru) is
synonymous for a spiritual warrior, God-Fearing, selfless humble servant and yet a Master of the
spiritual realm which he keeps silent to keep the Ego in check. Such an individual radiates with
God's Love. His mind is liberal, his conduct democratic and sees others without prejudice, his
actions measured, his thoughts uncontrobally pure, completely fearless and utterly humble.
Sound too good to be true, its not. To study Sikh Spiritual Masters you will find such Human
Gems and its a shame you will say why they have not been shared with the rest of the World. It is
a shame because their benefit to humanity is limitless. Just to add in reference to the terms his,
he does not indicate masculinity as women are equals if not greater in Sikh philosophy.

The initial permeating concept behind the Gurus teachings is not categorization or classification
of humanity. Even though the Gurbani may layout the numerous attributes of a human being's
social behaviours and such the glorious message that resounds is that each one of us human
beings are limitless and our capacity to attain soul-based and wordly-based excellence is within
our grasp in the here and now if we so decide to conduct ourselves in a manner that is conducive
to being an honorable member of this planet and universe. Our actions aligned with our mindset
reinforced with humility and heartfelt prayer allow us to be honorable participants on this planet
and universe and approved by God. We are able to contribute positively. The Sikh Gurus taught
that humility washes away the dirt of Ego. Ego separates us from God. Through penance, prayer,
meditation, good action and spiritual awareness the human can reunite through the Light of His
True Guru. As always, the key ingredient being Humility and Prayer, allows a person to be content
regardless of their lot in life. Humility opens the door to the Lord's wisdom and teachings. It allows
the person to say thanks and praise the Lord even during hardships as pain and sorrow are
nothing but worldly inflictions that make the soul more immaculate if the person sees pain as joy
and joy as fleeting. Prayer keeps the tongue and mind aware of God. Spiritual meditation keeps
the soul aware. All in unison create an immovable and unstoppable Godly force that is bent on
always doing Good, Justice and Living in the Now with Truthfulness.
