BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Mr. Narendra K Patni


Chairman
Mr. Narendra K. Patni, Chairman and one of the founders of Patni
Computer Systems Ltd., was erstwhile CEO of the Company. As an
entrepreneur, Mr. Patni has played an integral role in the development
of the Indian IT industry and has been instrumental in initiating the
offshore outsourcing business model for the software industry. Mr.
Patni’s professional experience includes senior management and
consulting positions with the U.S. Trust Company of New York and
Arthur D. Little, Inc. He was also President and Director of the
Forrester Consulting Group. In 1972, he founded his first company,
Data Conversion Inc. which is now the Company’s U.S. subsidiary,
Patni Computer Systems, Inc.

Mr. Patni holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from


IIT, Roorkee, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Master’s degree in
Management from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
