Preface
Engineering ethics is a study relating to moral decisions must be made by engineers in
engineering practices. As a developing country, Indonesia is still facing ethical problems in
many areas including engineering works. Engineering works generally has an impact to society
in terms of health and public safety as well as business practices, economy and politic. Ethical
problems are related to the practice of bribery, corruption, fraud in construction/manufacturing
contracts as well as a fault engineering design leads to economic loss or even fatality. By
practicing engineering ethics, Engineers are able to work under the rules and standards according
to his/her professionalism
