LAST DAYS, END OF THE AGE: The term last days
or comparable expressions such as final part of the
days were used in the Bible to designate a time when
events of history culminate. (Ezekiel 38:8, 16) (Daniel
10:14) The Bible speaks of a last day during which the
resurrection of the dead is to take place. (John 6:39,
40, 44; 11:24) (Daniel 12:13) We read about a time of
judgment as the last days at John 12:48. Jesus gave his
disciples complete details in the sign of the end of the
age, or the last days of this system at Matthew 24,
Mark 13, and Luke 21.

(End of the Age follows)

(Isaiah 2:2 NSB) In the last days the mountain of the

house of Jehovah will be established as the highest of
the mountains and exalted above the hills. All the
nations will stream to it.

(Jeremiah 23:20 NSB) The anger of Jehovah will not

turn back until he has performed and carried out the
purposes (intent) of his heart. In the last days you will
clearly understand it.

(Jeremiah 30:24 NSB) Jehovah’s burning rage will

not turn back until he has done everything he intends
to do. You will understand this clearly in the last days.

(Ezekiel 38:16 NSB) »‘You will come up against my

people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall
come about in the last days that I will bring you
against my land, so that the nations may know me
when I am sanctified through you before their eyes, O
Gog.«’

(Hosea 3:5 NSB) Afterward the children of Israel will

return and seek Jehovah their God. David their king
will come with trembling to Jehovah and to his
goodness in the last days.

(Joel 2:28 NSB) »In the last days I will pour out my
Spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and your daughters
will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your
young men will see visions! (Ac 2:17; Isa 44:3)

(Micah 4:1 NSB) It will happen in the last days! The

mountain of the house of Jehovah will be established
above the top of the mountains. It will be exalted
above the hills. Peoples will flow to it.

(Acts 2:17 NSB) »It will come to pass in the last days,
says God, I will pour out from my Spirit upon all flesh.
(Greek: apo, from) Your sons and your daughters will
prophesy (proclaim God’s Word). Your young men will
see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.

days perilous (dangerous) times will come.

(Hebrews 1:2 NSB) He has in these last days spoken

to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all
things, through whom he made the ages (Greek: aion:
ages of time, perpetuity, worlds, generations, human
entities).
(James 5:3 NSB) Your gold and your silver are rusted.
Their corrosion will be for a testimony against you,
and will eat your flesh like fire. You stored up your
treasure in the last days.

(2 Peter 3:3 NSB) Know this first, that in the last days,
mockers will come with mockery, walking after their
own lusts,

End of the Age 6

(Matthew 13:39 NSB) »The enemy that sowed them is

the Devil. The harvest is the end of the age. The
reapers are angels.

(Matthew 13:40 NSB) »The weeds are gathered up

and burned (destroyed) with fire. It will be this way at
the end of the age.

(Matthew 13:49 NSB) »It will be that way at the end

of the age. The angels will come forth, and separate
the wicked from among the righteous.

(Matthew 24:3 NSB) He sat on the Mount of Olives.

The disciples came to him privately, saying: »Tell us
when these things will be? What will be the sign of
your presence and of the end of the age?«

(Matthew 28:20 NSB) »Teach them to observe all the

things I have commanded you. Behold, I am with you
always, even to the end of the age.«

(Hebrews 9:26 NSB) Otherwise he would have to

suffer often from the founding of the world. He has
presented himself once at the end of the age to put
away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
