As a QA developer you would test a rich web 2.0 application built over a highly
scalable, fault tolerant back end.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute software test plans, designs, and automated test cases
• Design, create, and use test automation tools and harnesses
• Performs both script-based automated testing and functional page by page
analysis
• Able to design and implement test cases in a rapid prototyping environment
with minimal supervision
• Ability to perform and orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously
• Collaborate with a remote QA team

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical


degree
• 5 –6 years of related experience
o 3+ years of QA experience with web technologies including HTML,
CSS, Javascript, XML, Flash and AJAX
o 2+ Year experience with regression, integration and system level test
execution.
o 4+ year of strong Black box testing (Windows/Linux) and writing
test cases
• Strong ETL/BI Testing/Development with emphasis on Informatica,
PL/SQL.
• Understanding of RDBMS fundamentals and strong working knowledge of
PL/SQL and hands-on database experience (Any)
• Solid experience with shell scripting, Unix system configuration,
windows services
• Strong exposure to many different products, QA methodologies, lab
virtualization and computer environments
• Strong problem solver and abstract thinker
• Formulating test plans for white/black box testing
• Knowledge of ETL tools, network and file system protocols
• Ability to develop QA tools in Python, Perl, Shell, and/or C is a plus. Strong
UNIX/LINUX is required.
• Familiar with various operating systems and networking (Windows, Linux are
must)
• Create test plans and test cases for the QA group
• Familiarity with bug tracking, reporting, and verification tools and processes
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodology, a plus
