 Start planning now. Applications for programs offered

are generally due 5 months in advance.

 Start by researching the options available by visiting

the LPU website at www.lpu.in, or by contacting DIA
advisors via email at international@lpu.co.in .
Choosing a Program

Keep in mind that not every program will fit with your
major.
Choose the program best suited for you using the
online searchable database,
 Meet with your academic HOD to discuss the
possibilities.
Finally, make an appointment with DIA adviser.
Room and Board

 Living arrangements vary from one location to

another possibilities includes
– university residence halls,
– private homes,
– apartments, and
– boarding houses.
 In some cases you will have a meal plan. In other
cases, you will have to cook yourself
Applying

 Fill in the application form available at UMS

Submit the application form duly signed at DIA
Interview would be scheduled in the last week
of May.
 Selection of participants takes from one to
three months from the time you apply. (based
on the Host University response)
Requirements

 Visiting : - Mark Sheet of 10th, +2, Graduation (if applicable) and Transcripts of
the cleared semesters of the program currently doing.

 Transfer of Students : - Mark Sheet of 10th, +2, Graduation (if applicable)

Transcripts of the cleared semesters of the Program currently doing.
CGPA – 7.0 is considered to be good.

 IELTS – 6.5 bands with no band less than 6.0 ( UK, Australia)

 TOEFL – 80 score can be considered but 92-95 score considered to be best

(USA, Canada)

Post Selection Preparation

Apply for a student visa, if required.

 Research the culture of the country where you plan to study.
 Begin to study the language of the country where you plan to
study.
 Finally, you will need to attend a series of pre-departure
orientation meetings designed to support you in preparing for
your overseas experience.
