For the purposes-of this section, a qualifying pay period is defined as 11 days
work or more for full time employees, and B8 hours of work or more for permanent

Intermittent Employees(PlE) in a pay period. Should a plE have worked BB ormore
qualifying hours in any of the 60 qualifying pay periods prior to the effective
date of
this Mou, each of these pay periods shall count as a qualifying pay periodfor-
purposes of determining the employee's eligibility for Physiðal f¡tnéss Incentíve pay
(PFIP). This paragraph shall not apply to employees whó currenfly receive pFlp.

' This physiea{ fitness incentive pay shall be a part of the employee's normal check
for permanent full{ime and permanent part{ime employees, but shall not be
included for purposes of computing benefits (including, but not limited to, pERS
calculations) and/or additional compensation. In terms of withholding foi tax
purposes, this stipend shall be. subject to the same withholding rulesls normal
checks.
