Activity Information

RECOVERED UDAA 11-16762

On 04/15/2011, deputies assigned to Superior Township responded to the 8000 block of Deering Street (Southeast of
MacArthur Boulevard) for a suspicious vehicle complaint. The deputies determined the vehicle, which was
unoccupied, was reported stolen by the Ypsilanti City Police Department on March 31, 2011. The time of
occurrence was from 2:15 PM through 9:30 PM on 04/13/2011. The vehicle was towed and turned over to the
Ypsilanti City Police Department. There is no suspect information at this time.

LARCENY 11-16877

On 04/15/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 2000 block of East Ellsworth Road (West
of Fairhills Drive) for a larceny from automobile complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) opened an
unlocked door to gain entry. The time of occurrence was from 11:00 AM through 8:15 PM on 04/14/2011. A wallet
containing a drivers license, social security card and an unknown amount of cash were taken. There is no suspect
information at this time.

UDAA 11-16935

On 04/16/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 1000 block of South Harris Road (South
of Lester Avenue) for a stolen vehicle (UDAA) complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) opened an
unlocked door to gain entry and found a spare key that was kept in the vehicle. The suspect(s) then drove away with
the vehicle. The time of occurrence was from 2:00 PM on 04/15/2011 through 5:30 AM on 04/16/2011. There is no
suspect information at this time. The vehicle information is listed below.

Stolen Vehicle-2008 Ford F-150 Pickup Truck black in color. The vehicle has a black fiberglass cap and a set
of golf clubs in the bed.

UNARMED ROBBERY 11-17014 2 ARRESTS

On 04/16/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to South Ford Road near Parkwood Avenue for
a robbery that just occurred. The victim was putting gas into his vehicle when he was approached by the male
suspect. The male suspect asked the victim for some money because he said that he had run out of gas. The victim
became suspicious and got into his vehicle. The male suspect attempted to open the victim’s car door and told the
victim “give me all your money!" The victim became scared and thought the male suspect had a weapon, although
none was seen or implied, and gave the male suspect an unknown amount of cash. The male suspect then got into a
vehicle with a female in the passenger seat and drove away. There were no injuries. The time of occurrence was at
7:20 PM on 04/16/2011.

The deputies were given a description of the suspect vehicle and the two occupants. Deputy Nicholas Krings
responded to the area and saw a vehicle that fit the suspect vehicle description at Parkwood Avenue near Rosewood
Avenue. Deputy Krings pulled up behind the vehicle and saw two suspects exit and take off running. Deputy Krings
and other responding deputies located both suspects and arrested them without incident. Incriminating evidence was
found on the male suspect and suspected drugs were found in the suspect vehicle. The female suspect also had
suspected drugs in her possession.

The male suspect, a twenty-five year-old Ypsilanti Township resident, and the female suspect, a twenty-three year-
old Ypsilanti Township resident, were transported to the County Jail and lodged on various criminal charges. The
case was turned over to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

unlocked door to gain entry. The time of occurrence was from 7:00 PM on 04/16/2011 through 4:00 PM on
04/17/2011. Miscellaneous items were taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

LARCENY 11-17120

On 04/17/2011, deputies assigned to Superior Township responded to the 3000 block of Andora Drive (North of
Cherry Hill Road) for a larceny from automobile complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) opened an
unlocked door to gain entry. The time of occurrence was from 7:00 PM on 04/16/2011 through 2:00 PM on
04/17/2011. A purse containing a checkbook and miscellaneous credit cards were taken. There is no suspect
information at this time.

Calder Street and Seneca Street. The deputies determined one of the subjects was wanted on several outstanding
warrants. The subject was arrested without incident and transported to the County Jail.
