Vous avez entre vos mains, l'un des plus puissants et anciens systèmes de
cartomancie qui existe. Le Petit Lenormand est entré dans ma vie quand j'avais
seulement treize ans, me révélant ses secrets et sa sagesse. Dix-neuf ans plus tard,
j'ai été appelé à créer mon propre jeu du Petit Lenormand, et d'écrire un livre qui
aidera toute personne désireuse d'acquérir les connaissances nécessaires pour utiliser
cet incroyable oracle avec précision. Au début de 2017, mon travail à attiré l'attention
d'une grande maison d'édition majeure aux États-Unis; Schiffer Publishing qui
m'ont offert un contrat d'édition pour un livre et un jeu sur le Petit Lenormand
(disponible sur Amazon). Mon souhait a toujours été de partager mon savoir et mon
expérience de cet oracle avec le monde, et d'aider chaque personne
désireuse  d'éveiller son l'intuition, et d'utiliser ce don pour créer une vie stable et
harmonieuse!

Avant de vous faire découvrir les 36 cartes du petit Lenormand et son système
divinatoire, permettez-moi de vous parler de celle que j'appelle ma marraine la fée :
Mademoiselle Lenormand!
Marie Anne Adélaïde Lenormand (1772-1843) était une Française qui était douée dans
l'art de la voyance.  Ses talents lui ont procuré une gloire considérable pendant l'ère
napoléonienne.  En France, Mlle. Lenormand est considérée comme la plus grande
cartomancienne de tous Les temps, très influente sur la vague de la cartomancie
française qui a commença à la fin du 18ème siècle. Le Petit Lenormand a hérité de son
nom, mais l'histoire à prouvé qu'elle n'a pas créé ce jeu ni le système. Le jeu de cartes
que nous connaissons sous l'appellation du Petit Lenormand  a été créé plusieurs
années après sa mort, saisissant son nom et sa
notoriété dans le but d'une campagne de
marketing pour stimuler les ventes. Personne ne
 sait exactement quels jeux elle  utilisait lors de
ses séances, nous savons juste qu'elle écrivait
des symboles sur ces cartes. 

Elle repose au cimetière du père Lachaise parmi

bon nombre de célébrités, et aujourd'hui encore
sa tombe est continuellement fleurie par ses
nombreux admirateurs qui octroient à
Mademoiselle
Lenormand de puissants dons de prophétie.
Dans les pages suivantes, je vais vous donner des mots-clés pour chaque carte, et
vous aider à commencer votre tirage à 2 et 3 cartes.

Si vous êtes débutant, n'abordez pas le Grand Tableau pour le moment,
commencez d'abord avec la signification des cartes, gardez à l'esprit qu'une carte du
petit Lenormand comporte beaucoup de sens selon votre question et votre contexte.
Faites attention, car une seule carte peut être lue de la manière suivante:

Nouvelles, livraison ou visite. Un jeune homme, parfois

Changements (généralement positifs), promotion. Surclassement. Déménagement et
déplacement. Une belle femme, une femme avec des enfants ou une figure maternelle.

Un ami bon et fiable. Quelqu'un sur qui vous pouvez

Un personnage d'autorité. Gouvernement, grandes

 L'Oracle du Petit Lenormand

Maintenant que vous avez compris la signification des cartes, il est temps pour moi
d'expliquer comment on interprète le petit Lenormand. Les cartes utilisent une langue
qui leur est propre, ne les lisez jamais comme le Tarot, les symboles ont la même
signification peut importe le jeu que vous utiliserez. Ce que je veux dire, c'est que le
Cavalier va toujours signifier des nouvelles ou une visite inattendue, même s'il est
représenté sur un chameau ou une girafe. Rappelez-vous du temps où vous étiez à la
maternelle, la maîtresse utilisait des cartes de mémoire pour associer un mot à une
image. Lorsque les enfants voient la carte de la pomme, ils disent «POMME» peut
importe sa couleur. Le renard est rusé, même s'il est représenté comme un renard
blanc dans un décor enneigé, et la clé annoncera toujours un succès, qu'elle soit faite
d'or, d'argent ou de métal. Pensez à lire le Lenormand comme on lit un pictogramme
ou un hiéroglyphe. Cette partie est très importante, car si vous êtes un Tarologue,
vous aurez tendance à "tarotizer" le Lenormand et cela entraînera beaucoup de
confusion et votre apprentissage sera  difficile.

Voyons comment comprendre le language des cartes, le Lenormand n'est  jamais

lu seul, c'est la rencontre des cartes qui crée une phrase ou un message. Commencez
par attribuer au moins 2 mots-clés pour chaque carte, par exemple:

Bouquet: cadeaux et proposition

L'anneau: engagement et contrat.

Ensuite, mélangez le jeu et tirez 2 cartes, combinez les mots-clés de chaque carte en
gardant à l'esprit le contexte de votre question, le contexte est la clé pour une
interprétation réussie.

L'exemple qui suit, vous permettra de voir comment on interprète un tirage.

 Marie demande: “Vais-je me marier avec Jean cette année?”

Les cartes que j'ai tirées sont la Cigogne (17) et la Maison (4). Les cartes ici montrent
qu'il y a une sorte de mouvement, un changement, pas une séparation, car la maison
suggère le confort, l'intimité et les 4 murs. Les cartes indiquent clairement un
mouvement.

Ma réponse à Marie: Il n'y a pas de mariage pour vous cette année, mais
Jean va commencer par vous demander d'emménager avec lui.
 Le Tirage à 3 Cartes

La tirage à 3 cartes est d'abord lu comme une ligne (1 + 2 + 3); La carte du milieu
(2) est la carte centrale, ce qui nous montre la situation, et elle est définie par les
cartes 1 et 3, et puis 2 + 1 puis 2 + 3. Vous pouvez ensuite les associer: 1 + 2, et 3 +
2 et approfondir votre lecture 1 + 3. Permettez-moi d'expliquer cela avec
un tirage!
 Anita veut savoir: "Va- je trouverai l'amour cette année?"

Les cartes que j'ai tirées sont l'Anneau (25), le Soleil (31) et la Clef (33). Ce tirage est
assez facile à lire, les 3 cartes crient un grand "OUI" à Anita, car elles sont toutes des
cartes positives. Le Soleil comme carte centrale, assure la joie et la réalisation d'un
souhait, un succès complet dans une relation engagée (Mirror: Anneau + Clef)

You have now in your hands, one of the most powerful and ancient system of
cartomancy that exists.  The Petit Lenormand came to me when I was only thirteen
years old, revealing it's secrets and wisdom.  Nineteen years later, I was compelled to
create my own Lenormand deck, followed by a book that will help anyone desiring of
acquiring the skills to used this incredible method of divination accurately.  In early
2017, my work caught the attention of a major publisher from the United States,
Schiffer Publisher and I was
offered a publishing contract for a book and
deck on Lenormand.  My wish had always been
to teach people how they could become their
own psychic by using the cards as a tool to
 awaken and empower one's intuition!

Before we jump into the cards, let me talk about

the one I call my fairy Godmother: 
Madmoiselle Lenormand

Marie Anne Adelaide Lenormand (1772–1843)

was a French professional fortune-teller of
considerable fame during the Napoleonic era.
In France Lenormand is considered the greatest
cartomancer of all time, highly influential on
the wave of French cartomancy that began in the late 18th century. The Petit
lenormand was named after her and history had proved that she did not create this
deck or system. The deck was named after her several years after her death, snagging
her name and notoriety for the sake of a marketing campaign to boost sales.  No one
knows for sure what she used for her cards, though we know she wrote symbols on
them. So while we know she did not create this system, it was named after her but not
related to the actual cards or images she used.

In the following pages, I will give you key word that are the core meaning for each
card as well as help you start with your "2 Card Spread" and a "3 Card Spread".

Lets start first with the meaning of the cards, keep in mind that a Lenormand card
has many layer of meaning depending on your question and context. Pay attention
as a single card can be read as:
LITERAL: ring = ring, jewellery
EVOCATIVE: ring = precious, uniqueness
METAPHORE: ring = Bond, alliance, wedding

News, a delivery or visit. A young, sometimes athletic
man or lover. Speed, agility and mobility A literal horse.

2. CLOVER.
Luck (a little luck), a nice surprise, a new opportunity.
Pleasure, enjoyment, happiness and good fortune.

3. SHIP.
Travel, foreigners and foreign places. Bodies of Water.

16. STARS.
Lucidity, psychic development/met a physics/astrology. Wishes and wishful thinking.
Higher intention and prayer. Evening and the stars in the night sky. Things in large
numbers.

17. STORK.
Changes (usually nice ones), promotion. Upgrade. Moving and relocation, a travel. A
nice woman, a woman with children or a maternal figure. An “expected” family
addition (not always a child).
18. DOG.
A good and reliable friend. Someone you can count on.
Trust and loyalty. A faithful man. Dog or pet. My

19. TOWER.
An official or authority figure. Government and big
business. Borders, boundaries and restrictions. Self- rule,
isolation, loneliness, quiet work. A literal tower or tall
building.

20. GARDEN.

Now that you’ve mastered the card meaning, it's time for me to explain how
lenormand cards are read.  The cards use a language of their own, again don’t ever
read them like you will read the Tarot, the symbols mean the same wherever deck
you are using.  What I mean is the Rider will always mean news or unexpected visit
even he is depicted as riding a camel or giraffe. Remember when you were in
kindergarten, the teacher would use flashcards to teach you a word, he would
associate a word to a picture.  When seeing the apple card you would say “Apple”
despite its colour.  The Fox is cunning even if it is depicted as white fox in a snowy
decor and the Key will always be announcing a success wherever it is made of gold,
silver or metal. Think of reading the lenormand as reading a pictogram or
hieroglyph. This part is very important, because if you are a Tarot reader, you will
tend to tarotize lenormand and it will bring much confusion and you will find the
lenormand difficult to assimilate.
Let us look at how to understand the language of the cards, Lenormand are never
read alone, its the fusion of each card with one another that creates a sentence or a
message. Start by assigning at least 2 keywords to each card, for instance Bouquet:
gifts, proposition and Ring: commitment, deal.  Then shuffle your cards and pull 2
cards and combine the keywords of each card together  keeping in mind the context
of your question.  What I mean by context is that the meaning will not be the same
for the combination regarding a love question, to the one regarding a job
opportunity.  

Let me use an example so you can clearly see what I am talking about.
 Mary wants to know: “Will I get married to John this year?”

The cards I pulled are the Stork 17 and the House 4.  The cards here shows that there
is some kind of move going on, a change, not a separation as the house suggest
comfort, intimacy and being in between 4 walls.  The cards are clearly telling about a
move in.

My answer to Mary: There is no marriage for you this year, but, John will
start by asking you to move in with him. 
 Let's Look into a 3 Card Spread

The 3 card spread is first read  as a line (1+2+3);  The middle card (2) is the focus
card (noun) defined by cards 1 and 3 (adjectives) so 2+1 then 2+3. You can then
pair 1+2 and 3+2 and deepen your reading with the mirroring technique cards
1+3. Let me explain this with a reading!
