country is a flagship company of the Jindal Group of Industries. JSL is a multi-locations company having
plants at Kosi Kalan (UP), Nasik (Mah), Mundra (Kutch) – Gujarat.
 JSL has set up a state of the art & modern plant of Integrated Pipe Unit – IPU with Blast Furnace, JCO
plant, Spiral pipe Plant, DI pipes plant, Coating plant & Coke Oven Plant in the state of Gujarat at the cost
of Rs 800 crores.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Control

 Evaluate % M/c Utilization, monthly Production performance, Process study of DISP & MBF
 Study & Analyze the breakdown details at different stages in DISP i.e. Core Shop, Induction
Furnace, Mg Converter, Centrifugal Casting Machine, Annealing Furnace, Zn Coating, Pipe
Grinding, Pipe Cutting, Hydro Pressure Testing Machine, Cement Lining & Bitumen Coating.
 Prepare schedule for Pig Iron, Iron scrap, DI scrap, Pipe scrap & Granulated Slag dispatches.
 Evaluate the Productivity of Core per hour & DI Pipe per hour at Casting, Zn & Bitumen stage
 Preparing Management Information Report (MIS) on daily basis.

Dispatch Planning

 Coordinate with Marketing head office/regions, Finance & Logistics for daily dispatches.
 Prepare Monthly Input – Output Tally for costing; evaluate Dispatch performance
 Organize weekly & monthly presentation for reviewing Production, Consumption & Dispatches
against target.
 Evaluate the daily MIS, reason wise analysis of rejection report at casting and HPT stage
 ISO documentation & control.

Material Management

 Evaluate Daily Raw Material Stock Status, Daily Finished Goods Stock Status
 Handle the Material Reconciliation with Store, Production & Finance.
 Monitor and control the consumption pattern and report the deviation from standard
 Coordinate with logistics department for incoming material.
 Control effective material handling through proper stacking / Safety measures at storage
locations to enable smooth and timely movement of stocks through the network.
 Ensure optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings with minimum holding of
stock; maintaining storage areas and arranging infrastructure to ensure smooth flow of
operations.
