TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR
ENGINEERING STUDENTS TO CONDUCTED IN SUMMER 2009

1. The duration of the Training- 2 Weeks / 4 Weeks

2. Dates of Commencement- (a) 2 Weeks (Phase-I) - 15.06.2009

(b) 4 Weeks (Integrated) - 15.06.2009
(c) 2 Weeks (Phase-II) - 29.06.2009
3. Eligibility-
(a) 2 Weeks (Phase-I) Course – Engineering students who have completed
4th semester.
(b) 4 Weeks (Integrated) Course – Engineering Students who have
th
completed 5 semester onwards.
(c) 2 Weeks (Phase-II) Course – Engineering Students who have
th
completed 5 semester onwards

4. Branches of Engineering - Telecommunication, Electronics, Electrical,

Computer, Radio , IT or Equivalent as decided by BSNL.

5. Venue of Training- RTTC Guwahati, S R Bora Road, Ulubari, Guwahati-781007.

6. Fees to be paid-
i. Rs. 1,103/- ( Rupees One Thousand One Hundred Three ) only- for
2 Weeks Course per participant.
ii. Rs. 2,206/- (Rupees Two Thousand Two Hundred Six ) only- for 4 Weeks
Course per participant.

7. Mode of Payment of Fees- The whole amount is to be paid in advance either in the
form of A/C payee DD or Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour of ‘Sr. AO, RTTC
Guwahati’ payable at Guwahati.

8. Last date of receipt of Application & Admission –

(a) 1.6.2009 for VT (Phase-I) and VT (Integrated) Courses
(b)15.6.2009 for VT (Phase-II) Course
This may be may be changed if Principal RTTC Guwahati feels so.

9. Stay arrangement- To be arranged by the students themselves.

10. Mode of application- The eligible candidates may apply in the specified format
(available in the o/o the Principal RTTC Guwahati/Our website- rttcguwahati.bsnl.co.in)
along with following -
a. Recommendation letter from competent authority of respective Institutes
b. Requisite fees of the training
c. Proof of Photo-identity of the student
11. Total number of Seats- 40 ( Forty ) approx. per Batch

12. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Students are to
ensure their eligibility before making payment of Fees.

13. There is no provision for relaxation of fees or payment of stipend by BSNL for such
trainings.

14.The candidates would not be allowed to handle any sophisticated/sensitive equipments

of BSNL during the training period.

15. No leave is permissible during the training period.

16. Training would be conducted as per guidelines of BSNL only.

17. After successful completion of this training, candidates cannot claim for jobs in
BSNL.

18. For successful completion of training, RTTC Guwahati may conduct tests.

19. Mere fulfillment of eligibility and payment of fees does not guarantee the acceptance
of candidature for the training. Principal RTTC Guwahati may impose or alter any other
terms and conditions, if necessary.
