Dear student,

We are pleased to inform you that we conduct On Demand Online Examination every month

All students are advised to carefully read all the instructions and exam details thoroughly & for
more details visit the website (www.scdl.net)

On receipt of the duly filled online exam enrollment form to SCDL, the online exam
details for the students will get updated in our data base within next 4-5 working days.
Students can do their online exam slot booking accordingly. The Exam Enrollment forms
received after 27th at SCDL, the data for all such students will get updated in our data
base during the 1st week of the subsequent month & the online exam slot booking access
for such students will be released thereafter.

FOR THOSE STUDENTS, WHOSE DETAILS HAVE BEEN UPDATED IN OUR DATA BASE ON
OR BEFORE 27TH OF EVERY MONTH, ARE REQUIRED:
♦ TO DO ONLINE EXAM SLOT BOOKING ON OR BEFORE 28TH OF THE SAME MONTH FOR NEXT
2 MONTHS. (PLEASE NOTE THAT STUDENT HAS TO BOOK THE EXAM SLOT ON OR BEFORE
28TH OF EACH MONTH FOR SUBEJCTS, HE / SHE APPLIED FOR.)
♦ ON THE BASIS OF EXAM FORM PROCESSING IN THE SYSTEM, IF STUDENT DOES NOT BOOK THE
EXAM SLOT ON OR BEFORE 28TH OF THE SAME MONTH, THEN EXAM SLOT BOOKING WILL BE
RELEASED ONCE AGAIN FROM 1ST TO 28TH OF THE SUBSEQUENT MONTH, FOR NEXT 2
CONSECUTIVE MONTHS. EXAM SLOT BOOKING CAN NOT BE DONE IF STUDENT DOES NOT
BOOK EXAM SLOT IF EXAM FORM WAS PROCESSED AND EXAM SLOT BOOKING WAS MADE
AVAILABLE WITHIN THE SPECIFIED SLOT BOOKING PERIOD.
♦ IF STUDENT FAILS TO BOOK EXAM SLOT WITHIN THE STIPULATED DUE DATE PERIOD (AS
MENTIONED ABOVE), OR DOES NOT APPEAR FOR THE EXAM AFTER SLOT BOOKING IS
DONE, NO REFUND OF FEES REQUESTS WILL BE ENTERTAINED AND HE/SHE WILL BE
REQUIRED TO RE-PAY THE DUE ONLINE EXAM FEES AT THE TIME OF RE-BOOKING.

Please note only those students whose admissions are confirmed & who have paid full
program fees will be allowed to appear online examination.

Availability of exam slots is on “FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS”. Students are requested
to take print out of the hall ticket immediately once slot booking is done. Students are
requested to book exam slots within 3 working days, after the exam fee details have been
uploaded by SCDL on its web site, to avoid the non-availability of slots. The online exam booking
SHALL NOT be extended beyond 28th of any month.

Incase of any queries, students may send an email on onlineexamqueries@scdl.net. Please note
any queries related to online exam, sent on other email addresses of SCDL, shall not be replied.

 ON – DEMAND EXAMINATION DETAILS
1) ON DEMAND ONLINE EXAMINATION is the online examination conducted every month.
Wherein students can appear for their subjects selecting the exam date & time as per
convenience.
2) Students are required to send duly filled online exam form (exam form is available in
‘Student Centre Login’ under ‘Exam Form’ tab) along with the exam fees of Rs.150/-
(for Civil/ Resident Indian students) per subject.
3) On receipt of the duly filled online exam form at SCDL, the online exam details for such
students will get updated in our database within next 3–5 working days. e.g.:- if exam form
is submitted to SCDL on 20th of any month, then online exam details will be processed in
the system between 23rd – 25th of same month (excluding Sunday / Govt. Holiday /
Institute Holiday). The exam slot booking access will be released thereafter. All such
students must book their exam slots on or before 28th of same month for next 2
consecutive months.
4) Slot Booking: - Students can book the slots for subsequent TWO months from the date of
uploading of online exam data on SCDL web site, for subjects applied & wish to appear. (
e.g.:- If student has sent the duly filled online exam enrollment form to SCDL on
or before 27th of any month, after updating the online exam details in the data
base, student can do exam slot booking online till 28th of the same month for next
two months.
5) On the basis of exam form processed in the system, if student is does not book exam
slot on or before 28th of the same month, then exam slot booking will be released
once again from 1st to 28th of the subsequent month, for next 2 consecutive
months. Exam slot booking can not be done after said due time period.
6) Students whose exam form with due exam fees are received at SCDL after 28th till
30th/31st of that month, for such students’ data will be uploaded on the web site on 1st of
next month (excluding ‘Weekly Off’ & ‘Govt/Institute Holidays’) & students will be able to
book the exam slot for next TWO months accordingly.
7) If a student has paid the online exam fees, but does not book the exam slot during slot
booking due time period (as explained in point # 4 above) or does not attempt/remain
absent in the online examination though exam slot booking is done, he/she will
have to re-pay the online exam fees for re-booking of same subjects.
8) Students who have booked the exam slot but not appeared or have attempted the
online exam but failed, can re-apply not attempted/failed subject/s only after
official declaration of exam results i.e. after 12th of next month and are required to
re-pay exam fees for un-attempted or failed subjects.
Online exam fees are non refundable & non transferable. Students who appear but
failed in online exam of any subject will be required to re-appear & pass in the online
exam for those subjects during their program registration validity period. Students
will be required to pay the due online exam fee of Rs. 150/- per exam/ subject.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE STUDENTS
1. Students are requested to report exam centre minimum 30 minutes prior actual
exam slot.
2. Students are requested to carry their Exam Hall Ticket and SCDL Identity Card to
the exam centre.
3. Students would be responsible for signing the attendance sheet available at the
centre without which their paper will not be assessed and the student would be
marked absent for the exam. (Hall Ticket duly signed by invigilator is
provision to acknowledge presence in exam centre and will not be consider
actual exam attempt)
4. Students are not allowed to bring Digital Diary, Cell Phone, Pager, Palmtops &
Jewellery etc. in the examination hall. SCDL or the exam centre is not responsible
for the safekeeping / loss of your belongings. Incase a student is found using the
Cell Phone, the same shall be confiscated and the student shall be debarred from
the examination. All Cell Phones should be switched off during the
examination.
5. Students are warned not to use any unfair means in the examination hall. If any
student is found resorting to unfair means, he / she will be debarred from the
examination and the course.
6. Smoking is not allowed in the campus area. High standards of discipline have to be
maintained during the examination sessions. Defaulters will be dealt with strictly.
7. Note: - The online exam is an objective type of examination and has to be
attempted using computers provided in the Exam Hall. Students are assumed to
have basic knowledge of using a computer such as scrolling up & down, some
typing, clicking with mouse etc., In the event of any force Majure due to which the
student is unable to attempt the exam in his/her slot or at the exam hall, SCDL will
make required arrangements for such student(s) to reattempt the exam at another
convenient date/time at no cost to the student (s). Force Majure are described as
natural disasters, sudden / unexpected failure of electricity / computer, hardware &
software, local unrest / riots etc.,
8. Procedure of Online Slot Booking: -
™ Once the exam details have been processed in the system, students can start
the exam slot booking.
™ Please note online examinations are conducted between 1st to 25th of every
month (Excluding National Holiday, Govt. Holiday, Centre Weekly Off i.e.
Tuesdays & Sundays).
™ Availability of Exam Slot is on First Come First Serve Basis.
™ To book exam slot, students are required to put their Login Id & Password in
the student centre & click on “Book Exam Slot” tab.
™ After clicking on “Book Exam Slot” tab, students can see the online exam
details updated in the system for the respective subjects they have applied.
™ Please Click on “Book Your Exam Slot” placed below exam details ( to start
actual slot booking )
 ™ Students can select the fields from the drop down list e.g. Name of Subject,
Country, State, Centre, Date & Time Slot ( please note it takes certain time
to go to the next option after selecting any field )
™ Once the selection process of all required field is completed, a pop–up
window will display the details of the slot booking you have done i.e. the
required fields you have selected at the time of slot booking. ( if any changes
to be made in the said selection, click on “Cancel” back to go to previous
page again )
™ Click on “Confirm”, to store the slot booking details in the system
permanently. Once the student clicks on “Confirm” button, slot booking
details can not be changed, cancelled or re-scheduled, under any
circumstances
™ To avail the required date, time slot & Exam Centre as per the choice,
Students must do the exam slot booking within 3 working days (after the
data uploaded on slot booking page). Please refer Point # 2, mentioned
above.
™ Exam Fees are non refundable & non transferable.
™ Exam Slot Booking will not be available on 29th, 30th & 31st of any
particular months. (Student can start slot booking again from 1st of
next consecutive month after 10.00 a.m.)
™ In case, student does not book the exam slot (during the stipulated
period) or remain absent in the online exam even after the slot
booking is done, students are required to re-pay the exam fees for
the re-booking of same subjects again. Exam fees paid are non
refundable & non transferable.
™ Students should take print out of Hall Ticket immediately after the slot
booking is done.
™ You will not be allowed to appear in the online examination without Hall
Ticket and SCDL Identity Card. ( In case, of you unable to take print out
immediately, make sure to take print out of hall ticket in due course of time,
without waiting till the actual exam scheduled date )
™ Print out of Hall Ticket can be taken only between 1st to 28th of every
month.
™ Please attach your latest pass port photo on the hall ticket.
™ Please carry your Exam Hall Ticket & your SCDL Identity Card with you to the
exam center. No other proof of identity shall be accepted. The exam centre
representative is not responsible to admit you in the exam centre, if you fail
to carry your SCDL Identity Card.
