INTERNSHIP BRIEF

My learning experience with Indcap Advisors Pvt Ltd began with my joining from 10-05-2010.

My internship report contains all the information about my work experience with Indcap Advisors Pvt Ltd , which
was established in February 1992 and has since rapidly built a significant competitive presence in the country. At
present it operates out of own offices at Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata with associate offices at US, London,
Germany and major cities of India. Indcap, as a financial restructuring advisor in India, strives to achieve
excellence through its core strategy of specialization and diversification across a range of financial services, in
particular, by:

1. Placing the highest importance on quality, professionalism and integrity,

2. Attracting and supporting management teams of the highest calibre,
3. Fostering entrepreneurship, independent thinking and a willingness to innovate.

As an intern I spent good time in learning and was rewarded for my best efforts, learnt to deal with different
situations, had experience of organization’s working environment which effects an employee performance and
attitude towards work, had good time in learning and performing as one of the best intern in the campaign .
Confidence, on time decision making, consistency, hard work, team work, seeking success out of dark,
innovation, creativity, organizational survival and customer handling techniques are the key learning’s out of my
job And I would like to say that it will be one of my best skill that would remain with me and help me in the coming
life which offer many challenges. I would like to highlight this, that my experience with Indcap Advisors Pvt Ltd
was very memorable and full of learning’s, where I found a lot of positive changes in my attitude, learning and
behaviour.

I spent the first two weeks acquainting myself with the operations of Indcap Advisors Pvt Ltd, which included
working with staff members in the department. Although based in New Delhi, Indcap directs activities throughout
the country through its various offices in Kolkata, Mumbai and Raipur. I assisted Mr. Kamal Singh Bhuthoria on
various assignments that came to the organization. Some of my works at Indcap Advisors Pvt Ltd include:

1. Restructuring proposal for Megasoft

2. Research report on Megasoft
3. Research on Easun Reyrolle ltd. for investment purpose
4. Research on siyaram silk mills ltd. for investment purpose
5. Research on Kalindee Rail Nirman Ltd. for change in management and investment purpose
6. Research on Kaveri Telecom ltd. for advisory purpose to a client for picking up a stake in the company.
7. Analysis of financial investors behind Botanical EPZ in Kenya for company’s own medical arm.
8. Report on Suzlon Energy, GMR Infrastructure and SPIC for investment purpose.

Restructuring proposal for Megasoft was a major assignment on which I was directly working on under Mr. Kamal
Singh Bhuthoria while others were 2-3 days assignments on which I was not fully involved with but was only
required to do a portion of the task relating to research of the company’s financials and other aspects.

On the Megasoft’s restructuring assignment, I was first asked to prepare a research report on Megasoft so as to
ensure that I get the basic feel of the organisation, what is the core function of the organisation, what are the
problems faced by the organisation, what the company has done to address them and understand the financials
of the firm such as debt on the books of the company, assets on the books of the company etc.

On my basis of understanding about the company, I was asked to prepare a restructuring proposal for the
company under the guidance of my director, Mr. Kamal Singh Bhuthoria. I was also required to prepare a
presentation on it.

This assignment was strictly private and confidential as it is a listed company on both NSE and BSE and any
such leakage of information would have caused a huge impact on the share price of the company.
