10 NVYC Boats Cruise to Corinthian YC
Charlie Agnew reports...

Ten NVYC boats enjoyed the wonder-

ful hospitality of the Corinthian YC in
Tiburon from April 9 to 11. Bob Craven
organized the cruise but last minute
problems forced “Omega” to stay home.

Boats at the dock were: Star Ship,

Strange Trip, Pelican, Gently Down the
Diane Brown, Pat Hildreth & Linda Wolfe
Stream, True Love, Betty D, Sol Scape,
Dancing Wolf, Lady Di and C’King Fun.

Corinthian served a superb dinner on

Saturday Night followed by Sunday
Brunch. C’King Fun changed its name to
Omega for the Sunday cocktail party that
turned into a birthday celebration for
Bob Magoon.

Unlike the Loch Lomond cruise, we

had calm water and clear skies. That’s

PICYA delegates meeting on April 4. As of
April, 2011, stickers will be required for boats
18 feet or shorter including canoes & kayaks.
The Coast Guard is likely to require boater
education with states adding their own stan-

reported that ethanol fuel is corrosive and can
damage gasoline engines. The California cop-

monitored. Lobbying by the RBOC to con-

paint, ethanol, and marine water quality.

BCDC (Bay Conservation and Development

Commission) is preparing rules dealing with
