I am Vijay Singh pursuing MBA- Energy Trading (4th semester) from

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun and M.Com from Dr. Bhimrao
Ambedkar University, Agra.

As an Energy trader I have exposure to many aspect of Energy trading such as Crude Oil trading
(Physical and Paper), Power trading, Coal trading, Commodities and Equity trading, Renewable
Resources etc. I have understanding of fundamentals of Oil and Gas trading, Shipping
Derivatives and Risk Management (Bunker price hedging using Derivatives instrument, Freight
rate hedging and Interest Rate hedging) and also the pricing and the markets of Crude Oil and
Oil products.

I have done my Summer Internship program at Chemoil-Adani Private Limited, Ahmedabad

which is one the leading Bunker suppliers at ports of Gujarat. My project was “Study and
Analysis of Marine Lubricant and Greases: The Indian Perspective and Overview of Bunker
trading”. During this project I got exposure to physical bunker supply at Mundra Port and
various aspects of bunker supply and procedures followed.

I have fair knowledge about Crude Oil and Oil Products trading. I can add value to various
aspects of Oil trading like Procurement, Hedging the price risk, Marketing, Operations and
especially bunkering. OW bunkering has global presence across the world and it can provide me
a golden platform to start my carrier in the challenging and competitive industry of bunker
trading.
