TECH ‐ SPECIFICATION & SCOPE OF SUPPLY 
PAPER MACHINE SECTION 

HEAD BOX :    
Design  speed  of  the  head  box  will  be  200mts/min  and  flow  open  type.  Rest  of  the 
components will consist of:‐ 
• Rectangular type main body made from 5.00‐mm thk. S.S. Plate of 304 Quality with 
sufficient M.S. stiffeners. 
• For  Micro  adjustment  S.S.  Spindles  and  G.M.  nuts  will  be  provided  for  smooth  slice 
adjustment. 
• For  Manifold  10  inch  diameter  S.S.  tapered  pipe  with  S.S.  nozzles  welded  will  be 
provided for hose pipe fitting with head box. 
• 1 nos., 2‐inch diameter S.S. Shower pipes for foam killing will be provided above head 
box. 
• 1 no. of 150mm and 2nd one of 125mm dia meter S.S. holly roll with 4.00 mm  plate 
thickness, and chain for common drive, 35 to 40% open area, 20 mm hole diameter 
for first and 25mm hole diameter for second. 
• The  total  head  box  arrangement  is  rested  on  a  stand  with  forward  and  backward 
sliding arrangement and painted with anti rusting paints. 
• C.I. Sole plate of required length. 
• The Vertically adjustable baffle will be provided with the head box.

• Save all tray: Fabricated from 1.20 mm S.S.304 plate with M.S. Angle support. 
• Wire  guide:  2  nos.  Manual  guides  fitted  after  last  suction  box  and  wire  return  roll, 
complete with S.S. spindle with G.M. nut, S.S. pipe and C.I. hand wheel etc. 
• Wire  Stretcher:    Fixed  stretcher  with  mechanical  lever  type  and  movable  stretcher, 
lifting and lowering arrangements on Return roll with hand wheel, S.S. spindle, G.M. 
nut etc. for wire tightening. 
• Doctors:  2 nos. Doctors  will  be  provided  with  breast  rolls  and  wire  return  wash  roll 
with  8  mm  poly‐pick  material,  C.I.  holder,  lowering  and  lifting  handle  with  G.M. 
bushing. 
• Fixed  and movable  squirts:    2  nos.  Edge  cutters  and  one  manual  traveling  squirt  of 
S.S. 304 quality material with stand etc. The slotted pipe will be of S.S. material.  
• Hydrofoils:  Fabricated from S.S 304 plate, poly pick top supported with C.I. brackets. 
4 boxes with 4 nos. Strips will be supplied. The poly‐pick top will be easily pulled out 
and refilled to adjust the drainage from wire. 
• Bagley  Box:    Will  be  fabricated  from  S.S.  seamless  pipe  of  6  inch  diameter  with 
nipples on both ends for cleaning and v. pipe fittings, and supported on C.I. stand. 
• Shower Pipe:    
1.)   Knock down shower with S.S. flooding nozzles. 
               2.)   Fish tail type. 
                       3.)   2 nos. Edge cleaning shower 
4.) 1 no. High pressure oscillating shower. 
• Couch  Pit  agitator:    Couch  pit  agitator  will  consist  of  worm  strips  on  M.S.  pipe, 
coupling on both sides, bearing with housing, reduction gear box U‐600, 50: 1 ratio on 
 front side . The pump will be installed on the backside of the pit. Gland boxes will be 
provided on both ends.  
Gear box will be excluded from our scope of supply 
• Wire shaking arrangement: Consisting of eccentric cam with special type gearbox. 5 
hp, Variable speed motor is required (Not in our scope of supply).  
• Low  Vacuum  boxes:  2  nos.  S.S.  low  vac  boxes  with  face  length  equivalent  to  wire 
frame and width 350 mm. Quality of material will be S.S. 304 plate of 4mm thickness 
with S.S. flat support, holding brackets will be C.I. adjustable. Top will be of 
Poly‐pick as per our design. 
• Suction boxes: 5 nos. S.S. suction boxes with face length equivalent to wire frame and 
width 255 mm. Quality of material will be S.S. 304 plate of 4mm thickness with S.S. 
flat support, holding brackets will be C.I. adjustable. Top will be of poly‐pick as per our 
design. 
• Wire  moving  table:  Fabricated  from  M.S.  plate  duly  SS  cladded  with  spring  plate 
fitted.  
• Breast roll lifting and lowering arrangement: Lifting and lowering arrangement will be 
simple and manual with over head crane. 
 
PRESS  SECTION:  Press  section  will  consist  of  two  straight  press  confine  following 
specifications.

• Felt guide: Manual guide as per wire guide will be supplied for each felt. 
• Doctors: 1 no. M.S. doctor with angle type doctor holder and blade for press top roll 
and will be made for compressed fibre plate. 
• Shower: 2 inch diameter S.S. shower pipe with fan type nozzle for each felt. One high 
pressure oscillating shower with 1 mm diameter nozzle complete with drive for each 
press felt. 
• Tray: S.S. tray for press bottom rolls will be supplied with proper supports. 
• Vacuum  box:  Two  nos.  Vacuum  boxes  with  poly‐pick  top  will  be  supplied  for  felt 
conditioning  and  dewatering  in  each  press.  Vacuum  boxes  will be  fabricated  from  6 
inch diameter M.S. seamless pipe with 10mm slot in poly‐pick top. The boxes will be 
supplied with proper fittings to hold with the main frame. 
• Paper  rolls:  2  nos.  Paper  rolls  of  100  mm  diameter,  ebonite  coated  with  bearing 
housing and journal of 40 mm diameter will be supplied. 
• Sole  Plate:  Complete  required  length  of  sole  plate  in  C.I.  material  will  be  supplied 
with the press section. 
• Felt roll bearing housing and bracket: C.I. bearing housing should be water tight.  
• Off centre of the press top and bottom rolls will be 80 mm. 
 
M.G. SECTION:  
 
14 feet diameter M.S. fabricated M.G. cylinder will be supplied with ultrasonically tested 
56  mm  thk.  Plate  for  shell  and  45  mm  plate  for  dish  end,  8  nos.,  tie  rods  to  be  fitted 
inside M.G. cylinder.    
 
• Sole plate: Complete C.I. sole plate will be supplied for M.G. section. 
• M.G.  frame:  Frame  will  be  fabricated  from  16/18  mm  thickness  M.S.  plate  with 
stiffeners of same thickness inside. 20mm plate will be used for padding. 
• Touch roll  : Touch roll consist of the following  : 
 
1. Roll finish diameter  : 650 mm, interchangeable with press bottom roll. 
2. Shell thickness    : 35/40 mm. 
3. Bearing       : 23236K, ZKL make, with bearing housing. 
4. Pneumatic cylinder  : 10 inch dia by 10 inch stroke. 
•  Stretcher and guide: One no each stretcher and  guide will be supplied for M.G. felt 
similar to press section. 
• Shower pipe: One no. 2 inch diameter fan type S.S. shower will be supplied for M.G. 
felt cleaning. 
• Conditioning  Tube:  One  no.  Vacuum box  fabricated  from  6  inch  diameter M.S.  pipe 
with poly‐pick top, will be supplied for felt conditioning. 
• Tray:  S.S.  fabricated  tray  will  be  supplied  each  for  touch  roll  and  M.G.  felt  shower 
with proper supports. 
• Felt rolls: As per layout of felt rolls will be supplied similar to press section. 
• Paper rolls: Two nos. Paper rolls OD 100 mm, ebonite coated, complete with bearing 
housing will be supplied. 
• Dancing roll: One no. 250 mm diameter, dancing roll with ebonite coating fitted with 
springs, complete with bearing housing etc. 
• Condensate  system:  Bucket  type  condensate  removal  system  with  strong  fittings 
inside M.G. cylinder will be supplied. 
• Doctoring:  Three  nos.  M.S.  doctors  with  vickery  type  doctor  holder  and  P.B.  blades 
will be supplied. Out of three doctors two will be supplied complete with oscillation 
system, and one will be stationary. 
• 1 no. Each M.S. fabricated Gear and pinion to supply for M.G. drive. 
 
DRYER SECTION:  
 
Dryer section will consist of the following: 
• Frame: The frames for the dryer’s section will be fabricated from 12‐14 mm thick M.S. 
plate. The frame  ribbing  plate  thickness will  be  12/14  mm,  padding  plate  will  be 16 
mm.  The  same  will  be  provided  with  rigid  tie  bars.  C.I.  spur  gear  and  pinion  will  be 
supplied. 
• Sole plate: C.I. sole plate will be supplied for complete dryer sections. 
• Felt  rolls:  As  per  layout  of  ebonite  coated  felt  rolls  will  be  supplied  with  bearing, 
bearing housing, brackets identical to press felt rolls with each group. 
• Stretcher and guide: One no. Of stretcher and guide will be supplied for each dryer 
felt similar to press section. 
• Doctoring: M.S. doctor with veckery type holder and P.B. blade will be supplied with 
each dryer. 
• Dryers: 3 nos.,  in pre‐dryer group in bottom Raw only(no framing will be provided for 
top  dryers) and 5  feet  diameter  fabricated from  M.S.  plate  of  30  mm  thickness  and 
side dish from 25 mm M.S. plate with journal of 140 mm duly fitted with bearing with 
23034K, ZKL make will be supplied. Dryers will be having maximum coverage of paper. 
So framing design will be made accordingly. All dryers will be statically balanced. 
 
 
 POPE REELER: Pope realer will consist of the following: 
• Sole plate: C.I. sole plate to cover full length of the pope realer section. 
• Realer  drum:  Realer  drum  of  915  mm  diameter  will  be  fabricated  from  20  mm  MS 
plate and fitted with 125 mm diameter journal and 22226K bearing. 
• Doctoring:  MS  doctor,  Angle  type  doctor  holder  with  Hylum  blade  will  be  supplied 
with proper loading and lifting arrangement. 
• Camber bar: Adjustable camber bar / pipe will be supplied. 
• Primary  arm:  The  primary  arm  will  be  fitted  with  pneumatic  clutch  to  hold  the 
tambour roll with the primary arm. Mechanical arrangement will be supplied to lower 
the  primary  arm.  The  secondary  arm  will  be  fitted  with  6  inch  diameter  *  18  inch 
stroke to keep the paper roll pressed against the pope realer drum or tight winding. 
• Tambour roll: 6 nos. Tambour roll fabricated from 10mm seamless pipe with shrink 
fitted C.I gazen and EN8 shaft. The roll will be fitted with special type bearing housing 
with  double  bearing  for  easy  operation  of  primary  and  secondary  arm.  Bearing  no. 
Will be 6016 zz and 6214 zz. 
 
PAPER MACHINE DRIVE: Paper machine drive will consist of the following: 
A)  Group     : 6 nos. 
B)  Pneumatic clutch  : 6 nos. Pneumatic clutches complete        
          with air rotary joint fitted on counter shaft. 
C)  Reduction gearbox  : 6 nos. suitable gearbox of Elecon make.   
D)  Cone Pulley    : C.I. cone pulley of 500 mm, 2 nos.        
          will be supplied for each group. 
E)  Line shaft    : 90‐mm line shaft of EN8 material. 
F)  Bearing    : 22220K with bearing housing. 
G)  Sole plate    : C.I. sole plate for bearing housing  and      
                                                 gearboxes. 
H)  Belt Shifter    : Complete with MS spindle, C.I. handle, rollers  
                                                  fitted with two nos. Bearings etc. 
I)  Couplings    : Required nos. Of C.I. muff coupling and pin  
                                                 bush coupling will be supplied. 
J)  Pulley     : 200‐mm width, two nos. C.I. flat pulley for D.C.  
                                                 drive will be supplied. 
 
REWINDER:Rewinder will consist of the following: 
 
• Frames:  2  nos.  Mainframe  of  fabricated  M.S.  plate  of  16  mm  thickness.  Also  2  nos. 
C.I.g round polished slides bolted to mainframe, with heavy duty tie bars etc. 
 
• Drum rolls: 2 nos. drum rolls of diameter 450 mm fabricated from 16 mm thick M.S. 
pipe with C.I. gazen and EN 8 shaft. Both drum rolls will be dynamically balanced at 
500 rpm . 
 
• Sole plate: C.I.sole plate of full length of rewinder will be provided. 
 
• Unwind  stand:  C.I.  or  M.S.  fabricated  unwinding  stand  to  accommodate  parent  roll 
diameter upto 1500 mm. The same is fitted with pneumatic cylinder and brake liner 
and four side sliding arrangement of paper roll. 
 
• Slitter Knife: Complete slitting station will be provided between parent roll and drum 
roll.  Tubular  base  cutters  will  be  mounted  on  shaft  over  that  pneumatically  loaded 
top slitters will be mounted duly held by a dove tail on a beam. 
 
• A rider roll of 215 mm diameter will be supplied with pneumatic load balancing and 
lifting/ lowering arrangement. 
 
• A pusher roll of 100 mm with pneumatic cylinders will be provided for dismounting of 
rewound  reels  which  will  be  collected  on  unloading  tray  and  then  lowered  by 
pneumatic cylinders . 
 
• Paper  rolls:  Required  nos.  of  M.S.  fabricated  chrome  coated,  dynamically  balanced, 
paper rolls will be supplied. Roll shell thickness will be minimum 10/12mm. 
 
• Drive  pulley:  Required  nos  of  C.I.v‐groove  pulley  for  drum  roll  and  main  drive 
operation  
 
• Core Shaft for paper reel: Two no of shaft fabricated from hollow pipe and EN8 shaft 
will be supplied. 
 
• Rewinder operating speed: 350 mts/minute. 
 
• Maximum finished paper roll diameter: 1000 mm diameter. 
 
 
 
 
   
NOTES: 
 
1. Total number of sole/ base plates required for paper machines, gearboxes, line shaft 
bearing will be supplied.  
 
2. All  S.S.  shower  pipes  required  in  pulp  mill,  paper  machines  including  high  pressure 
oscillating shower with drive arrangement but without geared motor will be supplied. 
 
3. All  reduction  gear  boxes,  spure  gear  and  pinion,  chain  and  sprocket  coupling,  drive 
and driven C.I. pulley of flat / grooved type for the complete drives for paper machine 
section only will be supplied. 
 
4. Bearing  center,  face  length,  felts  and  wire  sizes  are  to  be  confirmed  before 
manufacturing. 
 
5. The reputed rubber coating company will coat all rubber and micro rock rolls. 
 
6. All bearings fitted with rolls and other equipments will be original and ZKL make. 
 
7. M.G. cylinder will be made from tested ultrasonically plate. 
 
8. M.G. main gear and pinion will be M.S. fabricated. 
 
9. H.P. rating, RPM hole diameter and pitch of each equipment will be confirmed before 
manufacturing. 
 
10. All wire return roll and felt rolls shell thickness will be uniform. 
 
11. The paper reel width at pope realer will be 2600 mm. So all other parts width will be 
adjusted accordingly. 
   
 ANNEXURE‐II – Part ‐ B 
TECH ‐ SPECIFICATION & SCOPE OF SUPPLY 
PULPING SECTION 
 
CONVEYOR SYSTEM: Conveyor system will consist of one stage belt conveyor as per the 
specification mentioned below:‐ 
 
• Conveyor belt width will be 1000 mm, 3 ply 6 mm thick. 
• Conveyor drive will be complete with chain sprockets  
• Belt stretching arrangement will be provided. 
• Belt guide arrangement will be provided. 
• Conveyor:  in  inclined  position  20  degree  inclination  to  be  maintained  to  suit  the 
height of the Pulper from charging floor. 
• There  will  be  2  nos.  belt  driving  and  driven  drum  rolls  of  450  mm  diameter  and 
required nos. belt supporting rolls of 90 mm diameter complete with bearing housing 
and brackets etc. 
•  Framings  for  supporting  all  rolls  will  be  fabricated  from  M.S.  channel  of  6  inch  *  3 
inch and angle. 
 
PULPER:  The ATS Pulper will consist of the following specifications as mentioned below: 
 
• Body construction will be fabricated from 8/10‐mm plate welded with conical ends. 
• A chamber is attached to the conical side for collection of accepts pulp. 
• An out‐let nozzle will be provided for delivery of accepted pulp. 
• Screen plate will be made from S.S. 304 plate with plate thickness 8 mm and 8 mm 
hole diameter 18 mm pitch. The counter hole on the backside will be 10‐12 mm. This 
screen will be attached in between the accept chamber and the main body. 
• Rotor will be of S.S. 410 cast and gland arrangements for proper sealing and guiding 
of  the  shaft.  The  shaft  is  also  provided  with  2  no.  Of  175  mm  width.  C.I.  flat  pulley 
suitable for driving Pulper and ele. Motor  
• The Pulper will be supported by 4 nos. Heavy legs at the bottom. 
• Pulper drain valve flange will be suitable for easy operation and minimum diameter 
will be 8 inches. 
• Capacity of each Pulper will be 8‐meter cube. 
• The  speed  of  the  Pulper  rotor  will  be  as  per  the  no.  Of  vans  and  diameter  of  the 
impeller used. 
 
TURBO 400:  Turbo 400  will consist of the following Specifications: 
 
• Conical  shaped  MS  fabricated  body  with  minimum  12‐mm  thickness,  with  one 
operating door and light rejects. At the bottom of the body, a heavy reject‐collecting 
 chamber  is  fitted.  This  chamber  is  provided  with  nozzle  at  the  top  for  getting  the 
accepted pulp and another nozzle at the bottom for cleaning purpose. 
• In  between  the  accepted  chamber  and  main  body  a  screen  made  from  5mm 
thickness, S.S.304 material with hole diameter of 2.6mm will be provided. 
• The  overall  functioning  of  the  equipment  is  done  by  S.S.410  cast  rotor.  The  shaft  is 
mounted on 2 nos heavy duty bearings in a C.I. bearing housing. 
• A stuffing box arrangement having G.M. bushes and gland is provided for the proper 
guiding and sealing of the shaft. 
• Drive and driven C.I.v‐groove pulley will be supplied.

VIBRATING SCREEN:  Vibrating  screen of size  0.90  m  *  1.80  m  length will  consist of  the 
following specifications:‐ 
• M.S.fabricated  vat  fitted  with  S.S.Screen  plate  of  3  mm  thick  with  3‐mm  hole 
diameter. 
• The frame is mounted on 4 nos heavy‐duty springs. 
• At  the  center  of  the  screening  frame,  a  shaft  is  provided  on  2  nos.  heavy‐duty 
bearings and housing. 
• Two eccentric load arrangements are provided at both ends of the shaft. 
• Bottom  vat  is  provided  with  an  adjustable  partition  for  maintaining  the  level  of  the 
accepted  pulp.  Nipple  is  provided  at  the  bottom  of  the  vat  for  the  collecting  of  the 
accepted pulp. 
• S. S. shower pipe is also provided to separate wash out fibers from rejected material. 
 
DACKER(THICKNER):‐ Thickener will be of size 2.5 m wide x 1.2 m dia will consist of the 
following:‐ 
• The drum will be constructed with C.I. rings and S.S/Bronze strips as proper backing 
supports to the wire clothing The outside diameter of thickener drum side rings and 
vat rings will be equal to mount sealing belt for both idle and moving rings. 
• Spur gear, pinions will also be provided with the dacker. A wooden strip will be bolted

HIGH DENSITY CLEANER: H. D. Cleaner will consist of followings: 
• Throughput will be 1500 lpm 
• Made  up  of  S.  S.  304  sheet  with  top  straight  tube  and  lower  conical  tube  with 
tangential inlet from the side at top most part. 
• Complete  with  reject  collecting  chamber  with  parting  valve  and  pressure  balancing 
water line at reject chamber 
 
CHEST AGITATOR:‐ Chest agitator suitable for 45 meter cube vertical chest will consist of 
the following: 
• C.I. grouting body rings, S. S. 420 casted rotor mounted on EN8 shaft and fitted with 2 
nos. Bearings and bearing housing. The same will be supplied with 2 nos. suitable C.I. 
Flat pulley for both drive and driven sides. 
• The gland portion of the shaft will be fitted with G.M./S. S. bushes. 
• The C.I. stuffing box will be provided with grouting plate.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 
 
PRICE. Rs 221.00 Lacs ( Two Hundred Twenty One Lacs only) 
 
The prices offered in the price schedule are for delivery Ex our works, Ahmedabad.  
 
TERMS OF PAYMENT 
40% advance at the time of finalization of order, balance against Performa invoice prior 
to dispatch. 
 
DELIVERY 
Within 6 months from the date of technically and commercially confirmed order. 
 
TAXES AND DUTIES 
The  prices  quoted  are  excluding  Govt.levies  and  taxes,  which  shall  be  charged  extra  to 
you at actual, at the time of delivery. Right now excise is 16.32% and vat is 4%  
 
FREIGHT, INSURANCE & DISPATCH, PACKING 
Our  offer  does  not  include  freight  and  insurance  charges.  Insurance  charges  will  be 
charged extra as applicable at the time of delivery. We do not accept any liability once 
the goods are handed over to the transport contractors. The materials when ready, will 
be  dispatched to  destination  duly insured,  consigns  to  ‘selves’  and  freight  to  pay  basis. 
Dispatch details and invoice value of each consignment will be communicated to clients, 
immediately after the dispatch of the goods. Packing will be charged extra @ 3% 
 
INSPECTION 
JMC’s inspection of equipment, component as per our standard inspection procedure will 
be  final  otherwise  agreed  by  us  in  writing  specifically  and  in  which  case  all  costs  and 
expenses for such inspection are to be borne by buyer. 
 
MODIFICATIONS 
Any modification during detailed design and manufacture will be carried out after mutual 
discussions  and  finalizing  the  payment  terms  and  mode  of  payment  and  extension  of 
delivery  schedule  accordingly  to  accommodate  modifications.  For  modifications, 
separate price will be submitted and the same will not be linked with price quoted by us 
in our present offer. 
WARRANTY 
We undertake that all equipment and spares supplied by us will be of standard quality of 
raw  materials  and  of  good  workmanship.  Our  warranty  period  is  12  months  from  the 
date  of  handling  or  24  months  from  the  date  of  supply.  Whichever  is  earlier.  We 
undertake  to  repair/replace  any  equipment/parts  of  equipment,  supplied  by  us  and 
found effective within the warranty period(material/design/manufacturing defects only) 
free of charge. However this warranty will not cover the parts and equipment damaged 
due to normal wear and tear and maloperation or mishandling/improper maintenance, 
storage etc. Of equipment by purchaser’s personnel.  
 
ACCEPTANCE OF ORDER 
No order whether based on this offer or otherwise shall be binding on us till it has been 
accepted by us in writing. 
 
FORCE MAJEURE 
If at any time during execution of the contract, the performance in whole or part of our 
obligation  is/are  prevented,  affected,  delayed  by  reasons  of  War,  Civil  Commotion, 
internal  unrest,  floods,  explosion  quarantine  restrictions,  port  congestion,  seizure  or 
sinking of ships, strikes, lockouts, earthquake, fire, voltage fluctuation, power cut or  
interruptions  exceeding  10  days,  acts  of  God,  changes  on  Governmental    Rules  and 
Regulations  affecting  works,  any  conditions  of  force  majeure,  when  occurring  at  our 
works, at our subcontractors or suppliers  works in India or abroad and at project site. 
In such an event and /or upon coming to know of the occurrence of such conditions, the 
same will be informed to Purchaser and will come into effect from the date of occurrence 
of such event. All contractual obligations and completion period will correspondingly get 
extended. No damages or penalties will be made applicable to the delays on account of 
force majeure conditions. 
 
VALIDITY 
30 days from the date of this offer.

sole plates,  ducts & chutes, site fabrication, oil and lubricants,  effluent treatment 
plant. 
 
• Anything not specifically mentioned in our scope of supply. 
 
• M.G. hood and Blowers, Trim Blower and all pneumatic panels. 
 
• Gear Boxes for Thickeners, Belt Conveyor, Geared Motor for Head Box, Shoers and 
M.G. Doctors 
 
• All type of Pumps, Vacuum Pump, Pressure screen and refiners.
