SAP University Alliances program fortifies growth in India

Launches TERP10 certification academy

Students at over 30 leading colleges to benefit from stronger foundations in Enterprise Resource
Planning

Pune, May 25, 2009 – SAP today announced the continued success of the SAP University
Alliances in India with the launch of the TERP10 certification academy, its global baseline
certification standard. Adopted by over 30 eminent Indian educational institutions including
XLRI Jamshedpur, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Indore, IIT Kanpur, Symbiosis Center for Management
and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) Pune, International Management Institute (IMI)
Delhi, Symbiosis Center for Information technology (SCIT) Pune, Xavier Institute of
Management (XIMB), Bhubaneswar and National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE )
Mumbai, the SAP University Alliances program is an endeavor to develop a high-end SAP
skilled workforce, a critical requirement in today’s competitive economy. With the introduction
of TERP10, Indian students can now avail of a wider breadth and a deeper understanding of the
main functional areas within SAP’s world-leading Enterprise Resource Planning software.

Launched at the Symbiosis Center for Management and Human Resource Development Institute
in Pune, TERP10 will subsequently be made available to all interested Indian colleges and
universities that are members of the SAP University Alliances program. University Alliances
program member students will receive the additional benefits of the advanced Enterprise
Resource Planning certification course being delivered through specially trained professors at an
especially low cost.

SAP® University Alliances program (UAP) displays measurable economic outcomes with
substantially higher salaries

The SAP® University Alliances program makes a key contribution to SAP skills
workforce development by directly nurturing the SAP ecosystem and supporting society’s
educational goals. Reaching over 900 UA member institution and 180,000 students annually,
measurable economic outcomes of the program include substantially higher salaries and reduced
ramp-up time to full productivity for graduates entering the workforce.

The SAP University Alliances program also provides a broad set of free, continuously
updated curriculum materials for undergraduate and graduate courses covering topics in
computer science and information technology, management information systems, accounting,
finance, marketing and sales management, supply chain management, business process
integration, and other important business functional areas. The diversity of curriculum materials
supports lecturers in their delivery of highly innovative and interdisciplinary academic
