LQ (retype “L” to refresh screen).
LQ,SYS=* (* = SYSID if multiple systems executing).
LACT (displays jobs in active queue only; cannot see abended jobs).
/DISPLAY,ST=JCL (provides index numbers for CA7 JCL libraries).
LPRRN,JOB=CCOP****
LJOB,JOB=CCOP****,LIST=ALL
SYSVIEW or SAR depending on MSGCLASS job designation.
HOLD,JOB=CCOP**** (job must be in queue; alternative to QM.1).
DB.1 (under Requirements change HOLD from ‘N’ to ‘Y’).
DB.3.6 (creates artifical user hold predecessor for job to be held).
DB changes may be done prior to job execution . Any DB changes are
treated as permanent so one-time changes must be reversed after the
cycle. **Access to DB panels will be restricted in model and production.
1.) QM.1 <enter> ; type in name of job <enter>
2.) type in ‘X’ next to job name (X=RQMT POST) <enter>
3.) post requirement by typing ‘X’ to the left of reason(s) for hold

(CA7job# does not correspond to SYSVIEW job#; alternative to QM.1).
1.) QM.1 <enter>; type in name of job <enter>
2.) type ‘E’ next to jobname to JSCAN JCL and review restart
instructions
3.) follow restart instructions and save member or exit (PF3)
4.) type ‘F’ next to jobname to restart <enter>
5.) type in the Reason for restart
6.) type ‘X’ next to Resubmit for Production to restart

3.) type in the Reason for forcing the job complete
4.) type ‘X’ next to Force Complete
1.) copy generic JCL into appropriate override library (production or
MO)
2.) change job and user card information as needed in JCL and JSCAN
3.) DEMANDH,JOB=CCO*1MIS (demand in generic job on hold)
4.) QM.1 <enter>; type in CCO*1MIS jobname <enter>
5.) type in ‘X’ next to job name (X=RQMT POST) <enter>
6.) post requirement by typing ‘X’ to the left of reason for hold

1.) DEMANDH,JOB=CCOP**** (demand in an on request job on hold)
2.) follow above steps #4 through #6 substituting your job name
1.) copy desired JCL into appropriate override library (production or
MO)
2.) enter PSI/ZOOM (E.7.P; 5 - DB maintenance; 6 - Override edit)
3.) cut and paste IOCARD member before first line of your job’s JCL
4.) change name and dates as needed; Save member or End to set flag
5.) return to CA7 and follow steps #3 through #6 substituting your job

*Model - coordinate with SE(s) monitoring model office. You’ll need to
provide information as to how your new job should fit into the existing
cycle flow. For example, what job will trigger your new job; what job(s)
will your new job trigger, if any; when will your new job execute (daily,
monthly, etc.); and what job(s) must complete before your new job can
execute. *Production - will be done through PSI ZOOM. Details
pending .
