Storm
This was one of the first projects I have ever worked
on in Adobe Illustrator. I used the pen tool to create
this whole project. I was unable to create color in
her hair by means of the due date. However, I do
believe that by not coloring or shading her hair and
face it allows you to see the dimension and details in
her hair and face. Thunder before the Storm.
St. Anthony’s
Hospital
“ I designed this project to
iform the community of the
services, care, and health in-
formation provided by
St. Anthony’s Hospital. “

This project was fun, interesting and

informative. I never knew there was a process
in which brochures were created. I just thought
you put a bunch of images and text together to
create a brochure. Well this project prooved
me wrong. I had to do hours of research to find
out about their facility. I also spoke with staff
of the hospital to find out about volunteer work,
career opportunities, medical services provided,
health education, and about how they help
those who could not afford the care. I spoke
with many amazing people with such a passion
for helping and healing others.

Burgers!

“If you enjoy good blues, good beer, good people, good food, and a good time come get up
and come to Down Time Blues Bar & Grill. Its an unforgettable experience.”
Sold for
$10,000
I had spare time one day about
8 years ago when I was very interested in
advertising. I was bored roaming around the
house aimlessly. All of a sudden an urge
came over me to create a logo for a bar and
grill. I still am confused about such a weird
urge but it prooved to be profitable. So I
decided to create a logo for a bar and grill.
This project at first was just for kicks and After creating the logo I thought it
giggles. As I started thinking about why the would be cool to create a coaster from the
majority of people go to the bar, I came to logo. So I created a coaster for my Down
the conclusion that it is mostly because they Time Blues Bar & Grill. I added the address
are down. Then I began to think about all of and phone number. I aimed this strategy
those 9-5ers who like to stop at the local pub towards the customers so they could take
for a drink after a long day of work for some a coaster or two home and others may see
down time. I created DownTime Blues Bar them and become interested in my bar and
& Grill. I added blues into the bar and grill grill. After the coaster I took it one step
because I felt like when the customers would further and created a Down Time Blues Bar
come to tbe bar and grill they would do one & Grill envelope. This urge turned out to be
of two things; some of the customers would an opportunity. A business and bar owner
drown their problems to the blues and the from Colorado contacted me and I sold him
booze and others will come and get down to this logo, coaster, and envelope design for 10
the blues. grand.

“Kriss X Kross X”
Craft. I created this remix by using the black arrowhead
tool to first unlock all the layers. I also used the black arrowhead

Jordan
tool to select the layer and change the color. I played with the col-
ors because I was not sure of what hues to use. I chose to make
the Jordan symbol blue so if would catch the eye of the viewer.
I ended up choosing the yellow and cyan colors because these
colors appealed to me and I would love to have a pair of shoes
like this in the future. As a matter of fact I may submit this to the

Air-Max
Nike office downtown and see what we can do because this is a
“Fresh Pair of J’s.”
Concept. I displayed these very bright colors for the
shoes. I would love to have a pair of these shoes. I used reverse
colors on the shoes to make your eyes jump from one to the other.
Composition. The idea was to cross the Jordan’s. I dis-

Crossed
played the shoes crossed and made the laces white to pop out also
crossed. My name for this pair of shoes is the 2015 Jordan Max
Crossed. This piece can have many meanings. Don’t get crossed
over. “Kriss X Kross X”
Craft. I started this project by using the pen tool and
outlining the shoes. I did this because I create the biggest lay-
ers first then go back in the projct and fine tune my artpiece. I
created the laces next using the pen tool once again. I used the
pen tool because I found it easiest to bend and align the shapes I

Jordan
needed for this piece. I proceeded to create the laces. After the
laces were finishished I began creating the shading in the shoes
using a gray color and using the opacity tool to give the shading
depth.
Concept. In this artpiece I arranged the shoes one on top
of the other. I crossed the shoes in order to show depth of the

Air -Max
shoes from 2 different aspects. I did this so that the viewer could
see both the inside of the shoe and the outside of the shoe.
Composition. Its shoes crossed. You can take it many
ways. Crossed is the focus. Its shading providing depth implying
detail. Im trying to say this is the crossbread of the 2007 Jordan
Air-Max Knock Offs. If you would like your own pair of Jordan

KnockOffs
Knock-Offs contact me @ 219-678-0151 and we can discuss
future business. $40 a pop, get it while its hott.

Want To
Escape?
“The easiest way I
have found to escape
and cope with my
problems is through
painting, music, and
through my artwork.”

Craft. I created this piece using the
brush tool combined with the pen tool and pad. I
first created the fish. Then I created the splash.
Next I created the environment of the sea. Follow-
ing that I created the environment above the sea.
Finally I created the boat. I put the fish jumping
out of water as if he was jumping into the boat. I
used copy paste quite a bit in this project. I also
used the transform and scale tool quite a bit in this
project.
Concept. This is a picture of the sea with
fish in it. In this piece the radio in the water is
playing bad tunes so the fish are swimming away
from it. The smart fish found that the boat was
playing awesome music so they were jumping
aboard to get away from the dreadful noise of the
music of the ordinary sea radio. I designed this
project to portray the message that the fish are
fleeing the sound of ordinary radio and jumping on
the boat playing awesome music.
Composition. I arranged the radio in the
center of the sea to try to draw the clients eye to
the radio first. I created the music notes coming
out of that radio black to create a message that this
was bad music or music not so comforting for the
ears. I created the fish swimming away from the
black music notes to also show that it was ordinary
not so fun music. I arranged the coral and the rock
and seaweed to give it an ocean feel and to give
the piece some depth. I arranged the sun and the
sky the way I did to brighten the piece and also
give it more of an out in the ocean feel. I created
the boat the way i did so it would look like it was
just passing through bumping awesome new skool
music. I arranged the fish tank on the front of
the boat with a slightly darker blue water to draw
the eyes to that last. I made the fish in the tank
jumping from one side of the tank to the other to
display how happy he was to hear the new sounds.
I also created another fish jumping from the sea to
the fish tank to show how dreadful the music of or-
dinary radio is. I created the music notes coming
from the boat in bright colors also to give defini-
tion to the new music coming from the boat. The
3D fish out of water give depth to the happy fish.
“Escape From..
Craft. I made this assignment using mainly the
pen tool. I created the fish tank and fish bowl first to get
an idea of how much room I had to work with and to create
the assignment within that framework. I then proceeded
to create the fish for the fish tank. After I created the fish
for the fish tank I grouped them together by going to image
group. I was then able to fit them to size in their habitats. I
then created the fish in the fish bowl. After all of this I cre-
ated the rocks at the bottom of the fish tank to give it more

107.5 F.M.
of a fish tank feel. I then proceeded to create headphones
for the fish. The fish in the tanks headphones are small and
not of much detail because they are not listening to good
music. On the other hand, the fish in the bowl escaped the
dreadful noise and is smiling with his detailed headphones
playing rocking music.
Concept. This project is a piece where the gold fish
is trying to escape the sound of ordinary and go into his own
lil world of music of his preference or good music persay.
The fish could not conform and listen to the brainwashing of
ordinary music and had to escape the noise of it. So he saw
the fish bowl and took advantage of it since it was playing
rocking music through its sets of headphones.
Composition. I arranged the fish tank in a rather
large manner so the viewers eyes would attract to it first. I
created the fish in the fish tank next. I did this so I could
scale the fish down to size as to not take away from the art
piece but at least to grab the attention of the viewer so in
hopes they would understand how the story takes place. I
then created the rocks at the bottom to give the project more
of a fish tank feel. I made the music notes black coming
from the fish tank so it would give the viewer a dreary awful
understanding of the music they are listening to through
the headphones. Lastly I created the fish jumping out of the
fish tank where the aweful noise of ordinary radio is being
played and into the fish bowl with the happy fish where
awesome music is playing maybe even something like “My
Girl.” I even got the month of May with my girl.

Tatoos

My Tatoos
These are my tatoos. The one to the left I got
on my golden birthday April 26th 2010. It is a
picture of my fallen love on the right side of my
ribcage. Rest in Heaven Jordan. I got this tatoo
in Chicago Heights @ Prairie Tatoos. The tatoo
on the right I got in December of 2009. I got
this tatoo on the back of my right arm to remind
me to never lose sight of my Faith. Without
Faith I believe I would not be here today. I got
this tatoo @ Sense in Lake Station.
