The aatman cannot be known or understood by purely using the brain


and its mental powers. Hence it is known as ‘avyakta’ or indescribable -
that which defies description. It cannot be known purely by meditating
or thinking upon it (’chintan’) - hence it is known as ‘achintya’. Only
those entities that can be perceived by our five senses can be understood
by ‘chintan’.

Since the aatman cannot be described by any elements known to man,


it is without shape or ‘vikaar’ and is known as ‘avikaari’ or immutable.
It is beyond the range of form or thought and the changes that affect the
mind, life and body do not touch him. Forms may change; things may
come and go but that which remains behind them all is forever.
Angka Number Meditation

Explained by “Prabhu Darmayasa”


There are various definitions of meditation. One of them says that meditation is
an effort to focus our mind to higher consciousness in order to uplift our soul. In
yoga, meditation is usually done by repeating certain mantras which have
been blessed with spiritual power by preceptor/Guru. By repeating the mantra,
the sublime and pure spiritual power will dawn in the heart of the seeker to
purify his soul.
Number MEDITATION PRACTICE
For initial standard, meditation technique is divided into (two) steps, they are:
1. Number Meditation,

2. The Five Centre Points Meditation.

NUMBER MEDITATION
Sit down and relax on a mattress, or a chair (make sure that your body does not
touch the floor directly). Straighten your back and your neck. Do this by the
following steps: Chose a number from 1-9 never change your chosen number.
Choosing the right number is important, so sit quietly and just relax your mind,
think of nothing but the numbers from 1-9, see which of the numbers you feel
comfortable with. When you have chosen repeat your number in the following.

1. Concentrate your mind between your eyebrows, stay relaxed (never


concentrate when you are tense).
2. When you reach that condition, repeat in your heart, your chosen
number, not too fast nor too slow.
3. Continue doing the process for 5-10 minutes. According to your
progress, slowly you can increase your length of time.
4. Practice this meditation as routines every day. For that purpose, it is
advised to choose a fix place and time.
5. You can practice this meditation anywhere, for example at the office,
in a plane, train, bus, etc. Whenever you have spare time, you can just
concentrate your mind and say the number in your heart repeatedly.
You can ask directly to Guru or to the appointed trainer about other
clues regarding this meditation.
6. If you are progressing with this technique, the trainers will give further
techniques in remembering number. But, you’d better “understand
completely” the previous techniques before jumping to the next
techniques.
The Five Centre Points Meditation
One of the functions of meditation is to awaken the “Kundalini”.
Besides this, there are various other benefits that can be derived
from doing number meditation such as, maintaining health,
peaceful mind, overcome stress etc. To be able to practice the
meditation daily, one should acquire special guidance. For that
purpose, one is advised to contact the Guru or an appointed
trainer and request him to give guidance in this matter at least
once in the beginning. Thereafter one may practice this
meditation on his/her own. The technique is as follows:
1. Concentrate your mind on the Muladhara Chakra (tail
bone) for more or less 5 seconds while repeating in your heart your chosen
number.

2. Drag your concentration upward to the Manipura Chakra


(navel) and concentrate there for another 5 seconds, repeat your number.

3. Further up toward Anahata Chakra (heart), concentrate


for 5 second, and repeat your number.

4. Up toward Visuddha Chakra (throat), concentrate for 5


second, and repeat your number.

5. Up toward Ajna Chakra (between the eyebrows),


concentrate for 5 second, and repeat your number.
6. Now we reverse the process downwards. Repeat in your
heart once more your number while concentrating on the Ajna Chakra
(between the eyebrows)

7. Drag your concentration downward to the Visuddha Chakra


(throat), concentrate their 5 second while repeating your number.

8. Down to the Anahata Chakra (heart), repeat your number


while concentrating for about 5 second.

9. Further down to the Manipura Chakra (navel), again repeat


your number while concentrating for about 5 second.

10. Down to the starting point, Muladhara Chakra (tail bone),


repeat your number while concentrating for 5 second.

COLLAPSE YOUR MIND AND OPEN YOUR HEART
During meditation, you do not need to imagine or visualize
anything, just concentrate on your chosen number and the 5
centre points. Beside these, during meditation it is advised that the
body should not come into direct contact with the floor, therefore
the use of a mat or natural fabric blanket is a must. Keep this mat
or blanket for your personal use, do not allow anyone to sit or
touch it. If you have problems in sitting on the floor, you may use a
chair. The most important thing in meditation is “to be totally
Relaxed” if you feel pain you cannot meditate properly. So find a
comfortable position. The back and neck should be straight. It is
advised that the place and time of your daily meditation be fixed.
Leave the deep meditation for the evening. Please do not eat two
hours before meditating.
COLLAPSE YOUR MIND AND OPEN YOUR HEART
It is easy to lose yourself in Meditation, to find yourself vibration on a
different level to your loved ones. Or feeling you no longer fit in with
your old way of living, and suddenly feel lost and alone in a world you
no longer recognise. Your family become strangers to you, the old way
of living becomes, confusing and uninteresting. You find yourself in a
battle, so as not to hurt your loved ones.
One thing you must remember is to carry your loved ones with you onto
that higher vibration, by connecting with them as you do your
meditation. Your loved ones chose to be a part of your life, so it is up to
you, help them develop into this higher dimension, to guide them in a
gentle way, by visualising them within your space of meditation.
Always keep in mind that, as you feel the changes within yourself, they
too are undergoing those same feelings, but on a different
understanding. It can get very frightening for your loved ones. A
sudden uneasiness sets in and they no longer feel safe, then fear takes
them over causing problems, that could have be avoided.

So here are a few steps you can take to avoid family problems:

1. Start to involve them into what you are doing, by gently


explaining the process of Number Meditation.
2. Always keep them in your heart chakra while you meditate.
3. Visualise them in a beam of Divine Light, and ask for
Dhunaguru to help them.
4. Never leave questions unanswered, it will only cause fear and
problems.
5. Number Meditation is about opening your heart, and lighting
up the way for others.

a. Never hurt anyone with your words.


b. Never hurt anyone physically.
c. Never hurt anyone in the heart.

So here in her own words is Natalia Vella Gatt

Hi, Nikita, So as promised, this is my story. After a stormy night one of the
electric wires next to my house was snapped in half. It was hanging down from
the pole, next to the entrance to my door and sparking and making scary
noises. We phoned Enemalta and they promised to send someone to fix it. We
waited till lunch time getting more and more scared that the house would
catch on fire from a single sparkle, as it was very windy and the wire was
touching a big tree.

At one moment, as there was a lot of fear and tension around me, I decided to
go to my room and do the Number Mantra, which was given to me earlier. I did
the Mantra and went to pick up my son from school. As I was coming back
home, in the area where I live, I noticed an Enemalta truck and two workers
fixing some wires. I run up to them asking them to come with me as I trying to
explain the situation.

They dropped everything and came with me straight away (even though
another brigade was supposed to come for our order as our address was not
on their list) they fixed the problem. From the moment I did the Mantra till the
moment help arrived was only half an hour.

I can only say how I felt the last Meditation in February before Lydia left
for Bali. When, Lydia used the Blessed oil from Guru Ji, on my forehead. I
felt different, something so great, I cannot describe this feeling, exactly
as it has been so long ago, and it’s slipping out of my mind.

I just remember that it was a differed feeling from the previous times, we
did Number Meditation.

So last Friday I really wanted to come to meditation and I was feeling


really good, I was looking forward to that same energy I felt in February.
The thought about it cheered me up. I thought that finally I would do

Personally I find that during the day when we are out and about and at work

I just sit for half an hour and do the meditation at home. Working the number

meditation technique - maybe it means I need to practice more! Or perhaps what is

I meditate twice or three times full meditation

while the rest of the day I chant my mantras or

I repeat my number. There is never a moment in

the day I will not be in connection with Divine energy.

I meditate and pray for many things, I ask for help in my finance situation,
as I do not have a job to bring in the money,

I pray and meditate for support to find a way to pay my bills, and “it always
happens.” Only a few days ago I was taken a back with my cable TV bill.
Something I find extra in my life and of no real use. I called up to have the unit
removed but I was told it would be a difficult process. A few days after the
company called me up again to say they would let me keep the unit for three
months free of charge. One less problem Sriguru

Meditation has helped me in my health situations, and has made me a more


balanced person. Number Meditation has shown me how to be in control of
my life, and not my life in control of me. It has given me meaning in my life
again, after I thought I had lost it forever.

Where would I be today without Number Meditation, I dread to think.

I understand a lot of you find it hard to sit down and meditate, or you are too
busy, too lazy, or you just have more important things to do, The fact that I’m
asking these questions are simple.

Let me put the real questions to you.

Are you happy with how your life is going? Do you have everything you need?

Meditation is food for your soul. It is a way to rebalance you, on a different


scale. It is a way to find your path and have a deeper understanding to your
life. It is a way to find peace.
Many of you are finding it hard to dedicate time
to daily meditation, but you expect things to go
right every time in your lives.

We find all the time in the day to complain about


all the things going wrong in our lives.

We find time to be depressed, and miserable.

But we don’t find time to take control and do our


daily meditation, because deep down, we refuse to
let go of our problems, our complicated lives.

If you had to spend all the time you do


“complaining, feeling depressed, angry, and
miserable,” in meditating, you will see,
how simple life really is,
and how complicated we have made it.

YOUR LIFE IS IN YOUR HANDS, IT IS ALL UP TO YOU

Number Meditation is an amazing gift. It has


been given to you by “Prabhu Darmayasa and
GuruJi.” It helps you to be in full control of your
life, and not your life in control of you.

It opens up many doors. Number Meditation can


change your life. All you have to do is, make the
time.
