Felicity Coonon
Felicity Coonon is currently the Art Director in Marketing and Communications as well as~ Senior
Designer in Production at Animal Logic. Felicity will share with you her experiences at Animal
Logic and account for the growing influence digital media has had on the film industry.
Felicity melds art, life and science. I've witnessed everything from website design to high-end film
VFX to hand-painted murals around her home, and work with her at every opportunity. In short, I

As a student text
filmmaker Maya constantly push herself managing to gain distribution rights for the
documentary Richard whilst she was a student. This year she took out the 2011 F4 Award for
Outstanding New Documentary Talent for her documentary Two. In this presentation she will
outline her experiences as a student filmmaker.

never be able to come into contact with otherwise… most of us live in these little cubes of our life,

Bill Russo
Bill Russo was the head of editing at AFTRS for 9 years , two years ago Bill left the position to
work on his own projects. He is recognised a industry expert and has work on many dramas and
documentaries. Bill will provide a deeper insight to the art of editing and enlighten those attending
the conference to the subtleties and expressive potentials of this craft. Bill will explain the practice
of film editing, the development of a sequential narrative and the value of the ‘critical eye’ during
the editing process.
