ALARMS (VEHICLE/PREMISE)
3/18/2011 566 Main St Alarm sounded at location due to door being unsecured. Lock appeared
to be damaged. Repairman on scene to repair the lock. Alarm was reset
and door was secured.
3/19/2011 556 Main St Smoke alarm sounded at location. No smoke or fire conditions present.
Alarm was reset.
3/20/2011 580 Main St Alarm sounded at location due to four individuals on the roof. Individuals
were tenants and were advised they were in an unauthorized area.
Individuals were escorted out of area.
3/20/2011 Opp 425 Main St Report of vehicle alarm sounding at location. Vehicle owner not known.
Alarm was silenced.
3/21/2011 513 Main St Alarm sounded at location. Search of area found all to be in order. Alarm
was reset and door was secured.

ANIMAL NUISANCE
3/7/2011 540 Main St Reporter advised an unknown dog on a leash walking with his owner
tried to bite his dog. No injuries to the dog. Search for dog and owner
yielded negative results.

3/27/2011 560 Main St Victim advised a guest was staying at her apartment temporarily and
refuses to leave. NYPD contacted and on scene for report. Building
management notified of incident.

DISABLED VEHICLES
3/30/2011 F/O 546 Main St MTA Bus observed out of service. Mechanic on scene to correct
condition. Bus was put back in service.

DISPUTES (VERBAL)
3/5/2011 531 Main St Dispute between leaseholder (male subject) and tenant (female victim).
R/O responded to location where victim stated she feared for her safety.
Victim collected her belongings with R/O present. Subject wrote victim a
check for the rent and security deposit return and victim returned the key.
3/5/2011 250 Main St Dispute between two males at location with regard to a basketball game.
Both parties separated, refused to press charges and refused EMS.

3/9/2011 400 Main St Reporter advised a passenger on the bus waited until the bus was empty
to advise him that he did not like the way he parallel parked. Passenger
refused to provide information.
3/10/2011 544 Main St Passenger and access-a-ride driver involved in a dispute over transport.
Both parties cooperated with each other and the driver continued on his
way.
3/11/2011 425 Main St Dispute between employee, employer and employee's husband over a
piece of documentation. Employer advised when document was found it
would be given to employee.
3/12/2011 549 Main St Unknown female and employee having a dispute at location. Female was
escorted from the premises.
3/12/2011 579 Main St Female victim advised of a dispute with another female at location.
Victim had a strong smell of alcohol and appeared to be intoxicated.

3/15/2011 580 Main St Victim advised of having a physical altercation with unknown youths.
EMS refused. NYPD contacted but did not respond.
3/19/2011 250 Main St Dispute with regard to a soccer game at location. All units responded as
well as NYPD. Male victim treated by EMS. Crowd dispersed and game
was discontinued.
3/24/2011 2-4 River Rd Female victim advised of a dispute between her and the concierge at her
apartment with regard to entering and exiting the building. Upon
investigation concierge advised tenant was not following the rules.
Victim was referred to building management.

ESCORTS
3/1/2011 Opp 300 Main St Vending machine operator escorted to location to attend to the soda
machine.
3/10/2011 504 Main St Disoriented male hospital patient escorted back to the hospital by R/O.
Hospital police took custody of him.
3/11/2011 30 River Rd
Victim requested escort while she moved out of her apartment. Victim
packed her belongings and was escorted to car service without incident.
3/20/2011 546 Main St Home health aid requested escort to residence as her patient could not
open the door. Tenant verified identification of aid and was let into the
apartment.
3/21/2011 684 Main St R/O on scene to witness employee locker being clipped and emptied.

3/23/2011 575 Main St Service escorted to location to install an intercom handset. Job
completed and door was secured.

3/29/2011 520 Main St Found passport at location. Owner unable to be contacted. Passport
was returned to the State Department who will then locate the owner.

GAS LEAK
3/23/2011 555 Main St Report of gas smell at location. Upon arrival tenant left the stove on.
Super on scene to check the area for any leaks. Windows were opened.
Stove in order.

3/7/2011 688 Main St Lights observed out at location. Management advised of condition.
3/14/2011 546 Main St Foldaway cot observed in hallway of location. Building management
notified to correct the condition.
3/19/2011 540 Main St Mattress observed left in the hallway of location. Building management
notified to correct the condition.
3/19/2011 546 Main St Feces observed in the stairwell of location. Building management
notified to correct the condition.
3/27/2011 688 Main St Lights observed out at location. Management advised of condition.

IDENTITY THEFT
3/7/2011 546 Main St
Female victim advised an unknown person made purchases using her
debit card from her bank account. NYPD responded to scene for report.
3/31/2011 563 Main St Female victim advised unknown person emailed her using a friends name
asking for money. Victim sent over $7,000 to unknown subject. Victim
went to 114 Pct for report.

ILLEGAL DUMPING (GARAGE)

INVESTIGATIONS (NON-CRIM.)
3/1/2011 546 Main St Reporter advised of unknown person attempting to enter her apartment
on three separate occasions. No sign of forced entry or tampering of
door.
3/2/2011 Main St
Reporter requested Officer to intervene on behalf of her son and his
girlfriend who were arguing. Upon investigation report was unfounded.
3/2/2011 595 Main St Reporter advised of smell of illegal substance. Upon arrival and search of
area report was unfounded.
3/4/2011 300 Main St. Male subject found tampering with MTA machines. Subject stated he was
checking discarded MTA cards for money left on them. Subject was
escorted to the subway without incident.
3/4/2011 580 Main St Resident advised she had no dial tone on her Verizon service. R/O
contacted Verizon and they will send out an emergency technician.
3/5/2011 400 Main St FDNY on scene for a report of a track fire which was unfounded.
3/5/2011 546 Main St
Reporter advised of no phone service. Cable company notified and
advised it was a temporary outage and service would be back on shortly.
3/7/2011 580 Main St Reporter advised of two males at location unlawfully. Upon investigation
report was unfounded.
3/9/2011 625 Main St Reporter advised of smell of illegal substance and cigarette smoke
coming from unknown location. Reporter advised she reported it to
building management as well as PSD since 2010. NYPD notified. Search
of area yielded negative results for source.
3/9/2011 550 Main St Reporter made a formal complaint against the Principal of the Child
School.
3/9/2011 510 Main St Reporter advised of youths in hallway checking doors to see of they are
unlocked. Search of area found all to be in order.
3/9/2011 510 Main St Reporter advised of smell of marijuana in the hallway. Upon investigation
report was unfounded.
3/10/2011 587 Main St Report of youths on the roof of location. Upon arrival gate was open but
no subjects were present. Gate was secured by R/O.
3/10/2011 S/O 1 Main St While on patrol four vehicles pulled up to location wanting to speak with
union workers. R/O advised the group to disperse that they were not
authorized to enter. Group complied with lawful order.
3/11/2011 546 Main St Reporter advised of suspicious odor. Super on scene. Deemed to be
incense. Source of odor could not be found.
3/12/2011 575 Main St Youths observed loitering in hallway. Youths fled the scene and left a
wallet behind. Wallet was returned to youths apartment where his
parents were notified.
3/13/2011 560 Main St Reporter advised of unknown individuals placing food on her door.
Search of area for subjects yielded negative results.
3/16/2011 625 Main St Reporter advised she was upset regarding visit from PSD/NYPD
regarding cigarette smoke coming from her apartment. Reporter was
advised NYPD responded. Reporter will contact 114 Pct on her own.

3/16/2011 587 Main St Reporter advised two teacher's at her son's school were mistreating him.
Youth advised that was not the case. School faculty advised this is an
ongoing situation where the parent has shown erratic behavior.

3/17/2011 560 Main St Reporter advised her neighbor allows her dog to trespass on her
property. Neighbor advised she does not allow her dog on her property
and states there are many dogs that live in the area.
3/17/2011 688 Main St NYPD advised vehicle was stolen from location. Owner of vehicle was
victim of homicide.
3/18/2011 549 Main St Reporter advised of male and female individuals engaging in
inappropriate behavior in public. Male became argumentative at
complaints.
3/19/2011 10 River Rd Report of dog on the bus. Owner was advised dog was not allowed to
board the bus, but owner provided documentation that the dog was a
service dog to the hearing impaired.
3/20/2011 546 Main St Victim advised an unknown male entered her apartment. Door was not
tampered with. Door was locked upon arrival. NYPD refused.
3/23/2011 504 Main St Reporter advised of a smoking man hole cover in the street. Engineering
notified and deemed all in order.
3/27/2011 580 Main St Reporter advised unknown tenant is discarding their cigarette's on his
patio. Unable to determine where they were coming from.
3/27/2011 F/O 455 Main St Report of disorderly group at location. Upon arrival condition was
unfounded.
3/28/2011 510 Main St Reporter advised of neighbor banging on her wall. Condition was
unfounded as neighboring apartment is on another level.
3/31/2011 531 Main St Reporter advises of alleged individuals gaining access to her apartment
illegally, placing electronic shock devices in her bed and theft of personal
property. NYPD refuses to take report. Reporter has made this complaint
on several occasions. Forwarded to building management.

3/31/2011 625 Main St Reporter advised of cigarette smoke. Upon arrival report was unfounded.
Reporter has made several complaints.

JUVENILE RELATED (INCIDENTS)


3/29/2011 645 Main St
Two youths involved in a physical dispute at location. Dean of schools
on scene. Situation will be handled with parents. Youth #1 sustained
injuries and will seek medical attention from private physician.

3/16/2011 Main Street Reporter advised she lost her bag possibly somewhere along the
sidewalk. Search of area yielded negative results.
3/26/2011 2 River Rd. Reporter advised she lost her medical equipment. Reporter will contact
her physician.

POSSIBLE ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE


3/27/2011 625 Main St Report of smell of illegal substance. Upon arrival unidentified odor was
present. Search of area yielded negative results.

PROPERTY DAMAGE (NON-CRIM)


3/13/2011 Opp 648 Main St Trash can observed smoking at location. Smoke was extinguished but
trash can was damaged. Management notified of damage.
3/28/2011 540 Main St Hallway door observed off the hinges at location. Building service
notified to correct the condition.

RECOVERED PROPERTY

SMOKE ALARMS / CONDITION / FIRE


3/4/2011 4 River Rd FDNY on scene. Laundry room vents were blocked causing smoke
condition. Heavy smoke affected 13 different apartments. Two residents
requested EMS and were transported to Hospital for evaluation. Water
damage to several locations.
3/8/2011 10 River Rd FDNY on scene for a report of smoke condition. Smoke caused by food
burning on the stove. No injuries or property damage to report.

3/12/2011 546 Main St Smoke condition at location due to burning food on stove. No property
damage to report.
3/24/2011 625 Main St
Reporter advised of cigarette smoke coming into her residence from the
tenant next door smoking on the balcony. R/O spoke to tenant and was
agreeable to not smoke in the direction of the victim's apartment.

SHOPLIFTING
3/24/2011 686 Main St ARREST Subject observed taking store property and fleeing the scene.
Subject was apprehended and taken into custody. Property was returned
to store owner. Store owner did not want to press charges. Trespass
notice issued.
3/26/2011 688 Main St Subject observed by store security taking store property. Store
management requested subject be escorted out and is no longer allowed
to enter. Subject was escorted without incident.

3/1/2011 455 Main St Door to location observed unsecured. Search found water running, but
otherwise all in order. Unable to contact management. Door was
secured by chain lock.
3/8/2011 504 Main St Door observed open at location. Search conducted and all appeared in
order. Door was secured by R/O.
3/18/2011 546 Main St Door observed open at location. Search conducted and all appeared in
order. Door was secured by Super on scene.
3/20/2011 543 Main St Door observed open at location. Search conducted and all appeared in
order. Door was secured by R/O.
3/22/2011 543 Main St Door observed unsecured at location. Management notified and on scene
to secure the door. Search of area found all to be in order.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT
3/7/2011 513 Main St Party #2 backed into party #1 causing damage to front bumper. NYPD
notified and both parties exchanged information. No injuries.
3/7/2011 F/O 648 Main St Two vehicles involved in an altercation. NYPD on scene. Both parties
refused to press charges against each other and decided to handle the
matter on their own.
3/18/2011 684 Main St Bus struck a parked vehicle on the driver's side rear bumper. No injuries.
Scratches to both vehicles sustained.

3/16/2011 30 River Rd
Wife advised PSD her husband is in violation of a court child custody
order. NYPD refused at this time. Wife advised to contact family court.

WATER LEAK
3/2/2011 540 Main St Water leak at location due to faulty pipe. Water was turned off until
repairs can be made.
3/4/2011 580 Main St Raw sewage coming out of bathtub and toilet causing damage to rugs.
Super on scene to correct the condition.
3/5/2011 510 Main St Sewer system observed spilling water onto the seawall. Plumbing
company notified to correct the condition.
3/15/2011 556 Main St Water leak at location due to faulty drain pipe. Super on scene to correct
the condition.
3/17/2011 504 Main St Water leak at location due to broken pipe. Management notified to
correct the condition.

NOISE
3/7/2011 560 Main St Reporter advised neighboring tenant was making noise moving items
around. Upon investigation no noise was heard from location. Reporter
was advised to contact building management.
3/9/2011 500 Main St Reporter advised unknown person playing bagpipes. Person was
identified and advised to play further away from location.
3/9/2011 580 Main St Reporter advised of loud music. R/O spoke with tenant above and
advised to turn the music down. Tenant complied.
3/13/2011 560 Main St Report of loud music at location. R/O spoke with tenant to lower the
music. Tenant complied.
3/19/2011 425 Main St Reporter advised of loud banging coming from location. Upon arrival
report was unfounded.
3/24/2011 540 Main St Reporter advised of tenant upstairs making loud noises. This is an
ongoing situation. R/O advised tenant to keep the noise down.

TRESPASS
3/4/2011 200 Main St ARREST Male subject observed at location unlawfully. Male was
escorted out and issued summons.
3/10/2011 F/O 575 Main St ARREST Male subject banged on victim's door causing damage. Male
was taken into custody for trespassing. Building management will not
press charges. Male issued summons and released.
3/13/2011 R/O 281 Main St Reporter advised of unknown individuals taking pictures inside of
location. Search of area yielded negative results for subjects.
3/17/2011 20 River Rd ARREST Two male subjects observed at location unlawfully smoking and
with open containers. Both subjects placed into custody, issued
summonses and released.

HARASSMENT
3/2/2011 20 River Rd Victim advised unknown subject was banging on his door threatening his
life. NYPD was notified. Search of area conducted with negative results.

3/22/2011 10 River Rd Victim advised female subject is constantly calling his cell phone
harassing him. Victim will block the number. NYPD refused.
3/22/2011 F/O 686 Main St Victim advised male subject began verbally harassing him. Subject was
asked to leave the bus and complied. Search of area yielded negative
results for subject.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
3/12/2011 560 Main St ARREST Two females observed being disorderly and involved in a
physical altercation. Both subjects were issued summonses. EMS
refused. NYPD on scene.
3/12/2011 510 Main St ARREST Officers responded to a fight in progress. Two male subjects
became disorderly and resisted arrest. Officers suffered minor injuries as
well as both subjects. EMS on scene. Both subjects taken into custody
and transported to 114 Pct for arrest processing.

3/27/2011 455 Main St Reporter advised male entered the location and began yelling at the staff.
Search of area for subject yielded negative results. No injuries or
property damage to report.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE
3/1/2011 888 Main St Husband reported his wife is abusive towards him and she will hurt him
and herself. Husband advised he will speak with the family before taking
matters further.
3/7/2011 540 Main St Male and female couple reportedly involved in a dispute. Upon
investigation report was unfounded.
3/16/2011 580 Main St Uncle and nephew involved in a dispute. Nephew left the scene prior to
R/O's arrival.
3/23/2011 30 River Rd ARREST Wife advised husband had grabbed her causing injury.
Husband was taken into custody and transported to the 114 Pct for arrest
processing.

OTHER VIOLATIONS
3/2/2011 694 Main St ARREST Subject observed urinating in public. Subject was issued a
summons and released.
3/5/2011 400 Main St ARREST Female subject observed not following traffic sign. Upon car
stop motorist appeared intoxicated. Motorist given a sobriety test and
failed. Subject was taken into custody and transported 114 Pct for arrest
processing. Car was towed.

AGG. HARASSMENT
3/31/2011 520 Main St Victim advised of female subject harassing and using profanity towards
him. Female was asked to leave location. Victim advised subject has
harassed workers on several occasions.

PETIT LARCENY
3/21/2011 580 Main St Reporter advised unknown persons took license plate off of vehicle.
Reporter will go to 114 Pct to file a report.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
3/2/2011 R/O 465 Main St Unknown subjects covered parking sensors with paint. Search of area
for subjects yielded negative results. Condition to be corrected.

3/5/2011 560 Main St Window at location observed broken. Service on scene to correct the
condition. Search for subjects yielded negative results.
3/5/2011 Opp 300 Main St Vending machine at location observed open and tampered with. Door
was secured by R/O and vending company notified.
3/6/2011 F/O 505 Main St Reporter advised unknown individuals tampered with her vehicle while
parked at location causing damage. Search of subjects yielded negative
results as well as view of surveillance cameras. NYPD notified to take
report.
3/7/2011 510 Main St Tenant advised his door was kicked in. Door still locks. NYPD on scene
to make a report. Super will fix door at a later date.
3/11/2011 546 Main St While on patrol unknown individuals threw a bucket of water on and
yelled profanities directed at R/O from the stairwell of location. Search of
area yielded negative results.
3/12/2011 Opp 750 Main St Men's bathroom lock was tampered with by unknown subject. Search for
subject yielded negative results. Management notified to correct the
condition.
3/22/2011 560 Main St Reporter advised of youths loitering in hallway making noise and causing
damage to property. Upon arrival R/O observed the exit sign partially
melted. Super advised of condition.
3/27/2011 546 Main St Wall observed punched in with damage to sheet rock. Building
management notified. Search of area yielded negative results.
3/27/2011 510 Main St Window at location observed broken. Service on scene to correct the
condition. Search for subjects yielded negative results.
3/31/2011 609 Main St Window observed shattered at location. Owner notified. Damage caused
by black pole.

ASSAULT
3/24/2011 546 Main St Male subject kicked in victim's apartment door after assaulting female
victim and proceeded to assault male victim in his home. EMS on scene
as well as NYPD. Subject fled the scene. Ongoing investigation.

BURGLARY
3/14/2011 560 Main St
Victims advised while they were sleeping unknown individuals entered
their apartment taking several electronic items. Victims also advised they
left their apartment door open. NYPD on scene for report.
