    THE BREAKDOWN WHY ARDEN HILLS?


    TOTAL PROJECT COSTS - $1.057 billion * Excellent access to the stadium – only 10 miles from both
    * Retractable-roof stadium - $884 million Minneapolis and St. Paul
    * On-site infrastructure, parking, environmental needs - $173
    million * A “Vikings destination” – an opportunity to make NFL games
    * County and Vikings are working with State legislative leaders a day-long fan experience with friends and family
    and MnDOT regarding off-site transportation needs, estimated
    to be $7 million per year * 21,000 parking spaces, allowing the return of tailgating – a
    fan-friendly NFL tradition
    MINNESOTA VIKINGS COMMITMENT
    * $407 million (39% of total project costs) * Very close to the Blaine National Sports Center – makes

    • Sales tax on direct satellite services * A year-round facility that can host high school, college and

    PUBLIC BENEFITS
    * The stadium will be publicly-owned and available for high
    school/amateur sports and other community events.

    * The Vikings will operate the facility and pay 90% of the operating
    expenses.

    * The Vikings will commit to a 30-year lease and pay for cost
    overruns.
