It covers the introduction of process control system and its parameters. Classifications of process control, batch process, continuous process, process dynamic, process modelling, behaviour of first and second order process, response characteristics of complicated process will be discussed. Additionally, Real time optimization, model predictive control and Linear programming model, SWOT analysis of process, statistical analysis of process and control will be discussed. Industrial applications of process control will be discussed to provide the students with the applied knowledge. LEARNING CO1 : Ability to define and classified typical process control ( A1,LL). OUTCOMES CO2: Ability to analyze and examine the typical process and distinguish the types of process Control used in the systems (P1). CO3: Ability to analyze and improve the control systems in typical process through Simulation exercise (CT).
