1-Hµnh ®éng ®ang diÔn ra gi÷a 2 ®iÓm giíi h¹n vÒ thêi gia trong qu¸ khø( an action that
was in progress between 2 * extremeties* of past time.): from 5 am to 9 pm/ all last month/

Hµnh ®éng ®· x¶y ra vµ ®· hoµn tÊt trong qu¸ khø nhng thêi gian cña hµnh ®éng kh«ng ®-
îc biÕt râ hoÆc kh«ng ®îc ®Ò cËp ®Õn ( an action that happened and finished at some time
in the past, but the exact time of the action is either not known or not mentioned.
vÝ dô: they have seen London/ I have met her younger brother.
§îc dïng víi adverbs of frequency ®Ó chØ hµnh ®éng s¶y ra nhiÒu lÇn trong qu¸ khø vµ cßn
cã thÓ lÆp l¹i trong t¬ng lai.
vÝ dô: I have seen the play Romeo and Juliet at last 3 times.

1- SINCE+ qu¸ khø ®¬n: I have loved you since I was a child.

 Trong c©u nãi trùc tiÕp, ngêi ®îc nãi ®Õn thêng kh«ng ®îc ®Ò cËp, nhng trong
c©u nãi gi¸n tiÕp ph¶i gåm cã ngêi nµy. Do vËy cÇn ph¶i thªm vµo mét danh tõ
hoÆc ®¹i tõ.

 Khi lêi nãi trùc tiÕp lµ c©u mÖnh lÖnh ë thÓ phñ ®Þnh , chóng ta cã thÓ chuyÓn

5- “Let’s” Thêng ®îc dïng ®Ó diÔn ®¹t mét ®Ò nghÞ vµ “let’s” ®îc ®æi thµnh “
