that is if all the kids are dead or

The lawyer leaves and lotson looks more worried and

disappointed than miniva who looks a bit calm

The kids are in the living room,belinda is fliping through
the channels on tv,mark is on the phone checking mails on
face book and jr is just not in the socializing mood as he
paces about.

BELINDA
Whats your problem why cant you
just sit

JR
I dont wnat to sit,when you called
you said it will just be a couple

But why would some one want my
father dead,he was good to everyone

sinister happened to your dad,and i
have a very bad feeling about this

your dad,might want to come for you

The door flings open and a deranged lotson walks in and after
shutting the door he walks over to the living room and throws
the car keys on the table as the wife comes in.

MAJORY
I have been trying to call you all
day,why were you ignoring my calls

LOTSON
I have told you that ,if i dont
pick then it means am busy

MAJORY
But how come you picked up the call
when i used another number?

LOTSON
Look am not in the mood of being
interrogated have had a very bad
day

MAJORY

She comes from the kitchen with a plate of salads already on

the phone with the lawyer

MINIVA
Come on mr mwemba work with me
here,its not like am asking you to
turn water into wine,all am saying
is we can reach a compromise,i know
its not right but who cares about
what is right when the rewards are
this tempting ,all am saying is be
on our side and ill make sure i put

After hanging up she ponders for a while before dailing the

phone again and as it connects she sits down

The tv is on and Belinda is laying on jacks chest.

BELINDA
I cant believe you made me watch
this horror movie

JACK
Its not even that scary

BELINDA
Are you kidding me,ill come and
dream those creatures,and you wont

THE VIOLENT BANG OF THE DOOR IS HEARD IN THE BACKGROUND AS

MR.katwishi GETS IN THE LIVING ROOM FOLLOWED BY THE WIFE, WHO
IS THROWING A TANTRUM AND HE IS TRYING TO AVOID HER,

HE PICKS UP THE KEYS TO THE CAR BUT AS HE IS ABOUT TO GO OUT

SHE INTERCEPTS HIM.

MRS.KATWISHI
You are such a looser, I can't even
believe am still here, am talking
to you and you walk out on me who
do you think you are

Miniva has just knocked and majory comes from the inside to
the open the door and after opening she puts up a disgusted
face upon seeing miniva

MINIVA

MAJORY
Is there any problem?

MINIVA
No not at all, there is just some
thing which came up and i need to
consult with him

Majory hesitates for a while before going in to call lotson

LOTSON
Who is there?

MAJORY
You see what i told you,now she is
even following you at awkward hours
what does she want

LOTSON
My friend can you just go and watch
tv if you have got nothing sensible
to talk about.

Majory gives him a devilish look as he goes to where miniva

is standing just by the door

MINIVA
And whats her problem?

LOTSON
She doesnt like you,and you showing
up this time has just made
everything worse

MINIVA
She will get over it

LOTSON

INT.BELINDAS ROOM .DAY

She is on the phone pacing about trying to get hold of jack

who is not responding

She cuts the line and then again its the same thing and after
a while she throws the phone on the chair,she ponders for a
second then she picks up the phone and calls alick

BELINDA
Hi alick belinda here,am good,yah i
know long time indeed, listern
sorry to call you this late just
wanted to find out if jack is with
you,oh ok.ah When you see him just
tell him to call me i really want
to talk to him ok thanx again bye.

Lotson just pushes the door as he draws closer

MINIVA
Look from the look of things, we
stand to loose everything if we
dont act fast enough and the time
is now.

LOTSON
I know,but dont you think it is
complicated already and that will
only make things worse
MINIVA
I spoke to the lawyer before coming
here i know i can convince to delay
the reading of the will to the
entire family for a week or two
.but You need to arrange your man
so that he can do the job in 24hrs

LOTSON
Much as that is the only solution,
it will raise a lot of suspicions
,besides my foolish brother is

JUST SWITCHES THE TV ON THE DAUGHTER COMES IN FROM HER ROOM.

BETTY

exams coming up in two weeks, I
called your phone but you didn't

Katwish takes his phone and checks

WAITS FOR ZAKES

BELINDA IS AT THE ORPHANGE WITH THE KIDS IN THE PLAY GROUND

JR IS IN A DARK CORNER BEING HARASSED BY THE DDRUG PUSHER AS

THEY HIT HIM AND DEMAND HE PAYS UNTIL HE PRODUCES A PHONE

if to celebrate the moment then she takes a sip from her
wine.

Zakes has thrown everything on the bed as he opens his small

bag, and takes out the file and photos.he Opens the envelop
and there is a gun and a four geared knife.he Takes a pull
from his cigarrete and with the ashes of the same cigarette
he burns the eyes off katwishi picture.
