About the Institute

Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Rajaramnagar established in August 1983. RIT

emerged as a leading technological institute in Western Maharashtra very soon. Its methodical
academic monitoring, innovative staff development programmes like ‘Quality Circle’ forged it
ahead of other institutes.
RIT has a Lush green campus spread over 42 Acres. It offers both UG & PG programmes
in the core as well as special branches .The institutes all eligible programmes are accredited and
Reaccredited by NBA New Delhi. Institute has successfully implemented World Bank Funded
TEQIP and selected for TEQIP Phase II
About the programme
The effectiveness of Teaching-learning process is a function of multitude of factors like
teacher, student, course, curriculum, course planning and assessment. The proposed programme
aims to address these issues to make the teaching enjoyable to both teachers and learners. The
Programme will be helpful for the faculties of all the streams of Engineering and Polytechnic for
better teaching and learning process. At the end of this programme each participant will be able
to plan and delivery the course based on the learning style of students, thus enhancing
effectiveness of teaching learning process.

Programme Faculty
The Expert faculty in the field of Pedagogy, NITTTR, Senior faculty members from host
institute and experts from education and industry.

Programme Methodology
Apart from conventional lecture deliveries, Group assignments, Group Presentations,
Individual and group activities to make the workshop more participative and meaningful.

Eligibility
Faculty members from AICTE approved Degree / Diploma Engineering colleges working
with any branch of engineering are eligible to participate. It is an interdisciplinary course.

Registration Fee
The registration fee per participant is Rs.3000/- which include the course material,
working lunch & tea. Accommodation in student’s hostel / Guest house can be arranged on
payment Rs.50/- per day. Preference will be given to faculty with less than ten years experience.
Maximum 30 participants will be registered.

Last Date for Submission of Registration Form : June 10, 2011
Intimation of Selection (Through E-mail) : June 12, 2011
Course Dates: June 27- July 1, 2011

The completed registration form with signature of Principal and seal, along with a
Demand Draft of Rs 3000/- drawn in favor of “Principal Rajarambapu Institute of Technology”
payable at Islampur is to be sent to Principal, Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Sakharale
before 10th June, 2011.The selected applicants will be intimated by 12th June, 2011 through
Email.This Workshop will be considered eligible for Career Advances Scheme (CAS).
