3 Company has 1500 employees distributed at different Restaurant located in
different cities in India
4 There can be more than one Restaurant in a city
5 Each Restaurant has a manager associated with it who is an employee of the
company
6 Each employee is associated with different Restaurant .
7 One employee can be associated with only one Restaurant at a time
8 Each Restaurant has several dishes with different charges.
9 Each Restaurant has a combo offer including some dishes and charges
10 Customer of Restaurant is given a bill for the foods he or she enjoyed.

11 Company needs following reports
12 Invoice to a customer
13 Daily income report for individual Restaurant
14 Monthly income report for individual Restaurant
15 Gross income statement for all Restaurant wise.
16 List of all the dishes and combo offers with charges
17 List of all the employees
18 List of managers of all the Restaurant with their contact details

4 Each stores sells items and prepares invoice for the customer and also k
eeps these data permanently.
5 Customers are of two types,i.e. Regular and new
6 If there is a shortage of items in company's main store then, company bu
ys it from suppliers
7 Company needs following reports
8 Store's on-line and off-line stock statements for different stores to ma
intain the inventory in stores.
9 List of all the stores with address and contact phone numbers
10 daily sales statements for all the stores
11 Invoice for the customer
12 Company also maintains list of customers with all their details
13 List of all suppliers
Design a good database that can fulfill above requirements. Also draw an E-r dia
gram.
This database design is for only one city i.e. Baroda . After one year company deci
ded to open store chain in Surat and Ahmedabad . Modify your above database design so
that system can run without much changes in both new cities.
