Access Control:-

Access to the data will be depends on the position.

Each position will mapped to only on division. Which in turn mapped to organization or
it self is a organization.
Different type access control(these we should configure in BC view mode)
1) Person based
2) Position based
3) Organization

1) Person Based:- individual data is assigned to person(either created by or owned by).

We can assign individual data to multiple person’s all we can config in BC Veiw mode.

For single person – in buscomp view mode we have record like “Personal “ whith having
value owned type as “Person” and value in Visibility filed( instead of Visibility MV field
and Visibility MVLink)

For Multiple Person:_ in buscomp view mode we have record like “Personal “ whith
having value owned type as “Person” and value Visibility MV field and Visibility
MVLink (instead of Visibility filed)

2) Position Based

Single Position :- we assign the individual data to single position. – in buscomp view
mode we have record like “SalesRep “ whith having value owned type as “Position” and
value in Visibility filed( instead of Visibility MV field and Visibility MVLink)

Multiple Position(Team):- we assign the individual data to multiple position, any one
from the team of those position can access – in buscomp view mode we have record like
“SalesRep “ whith having value owned type as “Position” and value in Visibility MV
field and Visibility MVLink ( instead of Visibility filed)

Manger Access:-
■ If the business component on which the view is based uses single-position access
control, the user sees data associated directly with the user’s active position or with
subordinate positions.
■ If the business component on which the view is based uses team access control, then
the user sees data for which the user’s active position is on the team or any subordinate
position that is the primary member on the team. This is the standard behavior, known as
primary manager visibility.
■ A business component using team access control can be configured to allow the user to
see data for all subordinate positions, regardless of whether they are the primary position
for a record. This is known as nonprimary manager visibility. To configure nonprimary
manager visibility, define a user property called Manager List Mode for the business
component, and set it to Team (rather than the default value of Primary).

■ If the business component on which the view is based uses personal access control, the
behavior
is similar to that for position access control:
■ For single-owner access control, the user sees data associated directly with the user’s active
position or with subordinate positions.
■ For multiple-owner access control, the user sees data for which the user’s active position is
on the team, or any subordinate position that is the primary member of the team.
