EPT 4066 INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
Aims of Subject:
• To expose students to the ‘real’ working environment and
get acquainted with the organization structure, business
operations and administrative functions.

Learning Outcomes of Subject:
• LO3- Apply the various skills learned in the university to industrial and
business activities. (cognitive – applying, level 3)

Programme Outcomes of Subject:
PO2 – Capability to communicate effectively. (10%)
PO6 – Understanding of the importance of sustainability and cost-
effectiveness in design and development of engineering solutions. (10%)
PO7 – Understanding and commitment to professional and ethical
responsibilities (10%)
PO8 – Ability to work effectively as an individual, and as a member/leader
in a team. (10%)
PO9 – Ability to be a multi-skilled engineer with good technical knowledge,
management, leadership and entrepreneurial skills.(50%)
PO10 – Awareness of the social, cultural, global and environmental
responsibilities as an engineer. (10%)

LECTURER’S VISIT
Students are responsible to do the following:
1. To check Bulletin Board and the ITP website after Week 9 to obtain
the lecturer visit information.
2. To contact the assigned lecturer and initiate arrangement for the
visit.
3. To report to ITP Chairperson if the assigned lecturer does not
respond.
4. To inform the company that visit or phone interview is mandatory
for MMU ITP.

working weeks during your training
