Helped start and develop a telecommunications company providing consulting and support
services to companies with under $50M in sales. Successfully competed with AT&T, MCI, and
Sprint attaining a sustained growth rate of 40% per quarter.
● Defined products requirements, identified and negotiated partnerships with and developed
major leveraged accounts including the companies two largest accounts/partners. Personally
responsible for recruiting and managing leveraged channel accounts which comprise almost
50% of company’s total revenues.
● Researched, identified, recruited, contracted, supported, and trained company Branchizes™
(Branch offices partially owned and run by local partners).
● Developed and managed the 24 hour Customer Support Center. Responsible for establishing
the "culture" to promote a quality and support mentality throughout all areas of the company.

DIGITAL EQUIPMENT CORPORATION (1984 – 1992)


Business Development Manager, Northeast Area.
Networking and Desktop Integration were two very profitable and growing markets for Digital,
during a time when much of their business was in decline or flat. Defined products and
implemented strategies and programs to develop this business segment within the Northeast
Region.
● Recognized as the #1 Region in sales in the US for two consecutive years.
● Managed the center providing technical support to Partners and DEC SEs for the Northeast
Region
● Team Leader for five consultants.
● Recruited, trained, and established programs for Channels Partners to successfully sell and
support this Business Units product set.
Program Manager.
Was hired to define what Digital could do to help position itself as the third-party vendor or
choice, to identify and recruit new partners and potential candidates for strategic alliances,
generate positive PR, and to help existing partners grow and be more successful.
