The average student graduating
from Denver Public Schools has ACT
and SAT scores nearly 10% below the
national average. In addition, most
students entering into college level
courses do not have the necessary
experiences in their high school clas-
ses to put them on a level playing field
with other incoming freshmen. This
deficit is simply unacceptable to the
administrators of Denver Public
Schools and should be unacceptable
