Will the Rapture and the Day of Judgment occur on May 21, 2011? Yes.

That's according to
Harold Camping. That's the same man who also made the failed prediction that Jesus Christ
would return to Earth in 1994. He's the head of the Christian radio network Family Stations
Incorporated, and he is sure that a earthquake will shake the earth on May 21, sweeping true
believers to heaven and leaving others behind to be engulfed in the world's destruction over a few
months. "We know without any shadow of a doubt it is going to happen," said Camping. Harold
calculated that on this day that the world would be several thousand years old. Therefore, in true
allegoric fashion Christ would return on that date.

Sometimes God reveals His secrets to His servants, but not in this case. God alone knows the
exact day and hour of this event. Daniel was a beloved prophet who was given much insight into
the last days, the Antichrist and the circumstances involving the end. But he was not given a time
table or exact schedule. He was told by God, "Go your way, Daniel: for the words are closed up
and sealed till the time of the end." (Daniel 12:9) Jesus Himself said, "But of that day and hour
knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." (Matthew 24:36) Jesus told
His apostles, "It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His
own power." (Acts 1:7) No one except God knows the time of the end of the world. Therefore
nobody, neither Jesus, Daniel or the early disciples knew when exactly it would occur.

God informed us all in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3, "For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the
Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden
destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." A
thief comes when he's least expected in the dead of the night, or when everyone is asleep. Jesus
spoke on the very same theme in the parable of the Ten Virgins. "And at midnight there was a cry
made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and
trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are
gone out. Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is
coming. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go
ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom
came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said,
Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour
wherein the Son of man comes." (Matthew 25:6-13)

Jesus told us those final days would be just like the ones of Noah's time. During that time period
the people were grossly over involved with all the pleasures of the flesh. Yet they all heard a
preacher of righteousness, warning them of God's wrath to come for 120 years. Then Noah
entered the Ark for seven days before the rain came. God closed the one door Himself, sending
the flood of destruction upon all of the unbelievers who entered not into it. Jesus said before His
return that the truth would be preached in His name to all nations, along with great persecutions
to Christians. That the world would be cold hearted and easily offended, full of false prophets who
spoke lies in hypocrisy. He said that we should be apply His name to things in our lives, being
filled with the Holy Spirit and praying constantly to be found worthy of Him. He warned of
tribulations that would destroy many people, darkness, blood and pestilence in all places. Lastly,
He told of signs that would occur (such as Israel becoming a nation, the alliance of Russia and
Iran, and the mark of the beast; which is a mandatory computer chip put on the right hand or
forehead under the authority of the Antichrist, for all to wear). Those signs would be a general
indication of His soon return.

The word of God tells us all beforehand that no man knows the day or hour of the Lord's coming.
And any person who prophecies something that does not happen is a false prophet, a tare or
foolish virgin. "When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to
pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it
presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him." (Deuteronomy 18:22) Fear not little flock, for
Harold Camping is just another false prophet who will wake up on the 22nd of May to a group of
disappointed followers. As he has lied in the past, speaking a vision from his own heart instead of
the truth. This is another attempt at crying wolf by a wolf (in sheep's clothing). Fool more once,
shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
