- Review patients' medical records to keep the optometrist informed about factors such as allergies and
medical conditions that the patient has.
- Perform clinical procedures such as recording vision, applying eye dressage and testing eye muscles.
- Prepares patients by giving them all necessary information regarding medical procedures.
- Perform diagnostic and vision tests on the patient.
- Help the optometrist in any ways needed, including administering eye medications and readying the
surgical equipment.
- Schedule patients for their next appointment.

---Philhealth Officer------------------------------------
- Inform prospective clients the needed documents re-availment of Philhealth benefits.
- Give the necessary Philhealth form in accordance with the patient’s status.
- Evaluates the submitted documents to see its completeness and accurateness.
- For those with complete requirements, schedules the date and time of surgery. And, for those with lacking
documents, advises them to comply with the lacking requirements.
- In charge of copying and duplication of documents and other important materials.
- Prepares completed documents and submits same to our accredited hospital where the surgery took place.
- Do constant follow-ups on status of our claims and likewise see if there are deficiencies that have to be
submitted.
- Receives checks issued by Philhealth and turnover same to the company treasurer.
