Species of Mithbar – Amalgams

Aranen
Also Known As: Seafolk
Appearance: While most Aranen retain the features of
their non-Undine parent, they all share blue eyes and pointy
ears. Extreme cases have bluish skin, blue hair and membranes
between fingers and toes. Some have scales on their back and
forearms.
Architecture:
Arts & Entertainment:
Calendar:
Crime & Legal System
Daily Life: With a constant longing for the ocean, they
often seem distracted and indifferent. Rather friendly and
open, they have no malice and it is hard to anger them. They
can be stubborn at times, showing some of their Undine blood.
Depending on the Race of their non-Undine parent, their
attitude may differ a bit from the norm.
Diet & Eating Customs:
Fashion & Dress:
Foreign Relations: Living in the mixed cities near the
ocean, they are rather social and enjoy the company of other
races. Although they can be aloof at times, Aranen are usually
friendly, especially with those who work with the sea. They
tend to avoid those that may put them in trouble and some
consider them snobby.
Favored Classes:
Government: Following the hierarchy of the
community they live in, Aranen can gain ranks in non-Undine
societies but must try harder to get a vote in the Undine senate,
let alone have a chance in authority, since they are viewed as
inferior by the full blooded Elementals.

Medicine
Philosophy:
Population: Human spawned Aranen, can live up to
150 years while Elf, or Orc, spawned ones go up to 300. As
they grow up their hair turns gray and their skin gradually gets
dry, just like it does when they stay away from the water for
too long, something they try to avoid.

Species of Mithbar – Amalgams

Gondiell
Also Known As: Dune Maidens
Appearance: Taking the shape of their non-Golith
parent, but the rugged feeling of the Golith one, Gondiell are
sturdy and serious looking. Brown eyes and hair. Their skin
may have a gray tone. Almost always female since male Golith
offspring become Goliths.
Architecture:
Arts & Entertainment:
Calendar:
Crime & Legal System
Daily Life: Serious and taciturn, though not as much as
Goliths, they enjoy solitude but don't mind walking amongst
Eruhim every now and then. Slow to anger and ever slower to
forgive, Gondiell are a race you don't want to go against you,
as they tend to avenge as a whole.
Diet & Eating Customs:
Fashion & Dress:
Foreign Relations: Somewhat solitary, they like to
wander the dunes alone but sometimes they accompany
caravans as guides from one Oasis to the next. Some choose to
live with the Eruhim and help their tribe in whatever way they
can. Preservers enjoy their company and protection more often
than most.
Favored Classes:
Government: When in a tribe, they follow the rules and
hierarchy of the tribe. Though they won't hunt a leading role,
they won't decline when offered the chance. When on their
own, they answer to nobody but the Keeper and the Guardian.
As a race, they have no hierarchy whatsoever.
Magic & Technology
Medicine
Philosophy:
Population: If the non-Golith parent is Eruhim, they
live up to the age of 170, if Elf or Orc, they exceed the age of
350. Age comes at a paced rate and usually a Gondiell looks at
1/3 of her age, even less, if Elven blood flows in her veins. As
they age, their skin starts becoming harder until it resembles
that of a Golith.

Species of Mithbar – Amalgams

Henlach
Also Known As: Torches
Appearance: Depending on their parents, as is the case
with Amalgams, Henlach may have reddish skin, bright red
hair and pointy ears. In extreme cases, their eyes are fiery and
they emanate heat, but in no case do they resemble Firelords,
except maybe from afar.
Architecture:
Arts & Entertainment:
Calendar:
Crime & Legal System
Daily Life: Impulsive and emotional, Henlach love any
kind of excitement and thrills. They live for the moment and
when mated, they can go to extremes. Just like Firelords, they
will take part in a fight, even if they have nothing to do with it.
Diet & Eating Customs:
Fashion & Dress:
Foreign Relations: They like to spend time with other
races, no matter how. Be it a bar fight, a drinking contest or an
all out war, Henlach like interaction with others, of course
being more discreet than their Elemental parents they don't
create as many problems.
Favored Classes:
Government: Henlach have no love for any kind of
authority and will stray off the mainstream path given the
chance. Usually though, they will enter the ladder of the
society they live in and gain any rank they can, preferably by
unconventional means.
Magic & Technology
Medicine
Philosophy:
Population: Human spawned Henlach have the nature
lifespan of their parents, that is 100 years. Elf, or Orc, spawned
ones live a lot longer and can reach the age of 250. They age
according to the nature of their non-Elemental parent but their
hair always stays red.

Species of Mithbar – Amalgams

Lindaith
Also Known As: Bladelings
Appearance: Tall and slender with angular faces,
Lindaith have gray skin with metal scales at the joints, no hair
and their eyes are black and without pupils, which gives them a
rather eerie look. Spurs come out from their elbows and knees,
while their forehead is usually covered in metal scales as well.
Architecture:
Arts & Entertainment:
Calendar:
Crime & Legal System
Daily Life: Reserved, bordering on cold and
emotionless, Lindaith. They only care about facts and little
else, in fact they barely show emotions when dealing with
family. Exception to this are the children that can be quite
expressive and playful.
Diet & Eating Customs:
Fashion & Dress:
Foreign Relations: Along with Gondiel, Lindaith are
the least sociable Amalgams. They don't care much for the
company of others as they find them distracting. That said,
many like to observe others, monitoring and recording their
behavior, for no other reason that curiosity and research.
Favored Classes:
Government: As most Amalgams, Lindaith tend to
follow the hierarchy of whatever society they choose to be part
of. Thanks to their character, they usually earn a spot in the
judicial part of the system. They always abide by whatever
rules are in place and will do whatever needed not to break
them.
Magic & Technology
Medicine
Philosophy:
Population: Lindaith can live up to the age of 200. As
they get older, their skin darkens and they seem to rust. The
spurs get longer and the scales cover their whole body as time
passes. They never look older than 50 however and aging is
reduced accordingly.

Species of Mithbar – Amalgams

Tawaren
Also Known As: Lost Ones, Woodsmen
Appearance: Almost always male, since female
children of Dryads are Dryads themselves, Tawaren could be
mistaken for Cuerryn if not for their green hair and eyes. Their
skin has a greenish tone and in extreme cases, where they
walk, flowers bloom.
Architecture: Amalgams tend to blend in whatever
culture they live in, Tawaren are no exception to this rule,
neither are their dwellings. Whatever the dominant type of
dwelling is, thats what the Tawaren follow.
Arts & Entertainment:
Calendar:
Crime & Legal System
Daily Life: Good natured but somewhat less naive than
their mothers, Slow to anger and easy to forgive, but not
forget. They like surrounding themselves with animals, laugh
at good jokes and enjoy music even if sometimes they prefer
the nightingale's song.
Diet & Eating Customs:
Fashion & Dress:
Foreign Relations: A lot more social than the Dryads,
Tawaren like to spend time with the Cuerryn and other races.
When in a city they take care of the plants and animals. When
in the forest they play with animals, and like to spend weeks in
the wilderness.
Favored Classes:
Government: More often than not, Tawaren are seen
withing the ranks of the Cuerryn. They rise within the
hierarchy ladder as fast as the Elves and it is not strange to see
a Tawaran commanding a force of Cuerryn Rangers. In any
case, they tend to follow the hierarchy of the society they are
part of.
Magic & Technology
Medicine
Philosophy: Even though Nature aligned orders claim
the most Tawaren, Might and Life ones have enough among
their ranks to be reckoned. Order and Chaos orders are not as
popular, but there is no order Tawaren shun completely.
Population: No matter what the non-Dryad parent is,
Tawaren can live up to 500 years and they age normally till the
age of 30, then their appearance remains the same. Only their
hair turn gray and they get more reserved. In some rare cases,
Orc-spawned Tawaren die after their 100th year.
